Jul 7 2009Michael Jackson's Big Top Memorial Service
Well, the Michael Jackson Memorial Service is about to commence, so here's some pics from the scene complete with commentary in the captions. And, yes, those are elephants down there along with miniature ponies. Because what better way to honor Michael's life than having a bunch of zoo animals crap around his coffin? There's a metaphor in that somewhere.
Rest in Peace, Michael.

@9 The Ringling Bros. circus was previously scheduled. The circus opens tomorrow at the Staples Center.
That said, there is something apropos about the circus showing up for this spectacle . . .
17. Dread not - July 7, 2009 1:52 PM
They should have flown Bubbles out to the funeral, like was offered. That way he could have paid his last respects to Michael. He could've flung around some of his own shit and the scat from the elephants and ponies. The only down side to that is, Jamie Foxx, Chris Tucker, P. Diddy, and a host of others would've probably joined in, making it an all out monkey shit fight. Nothing says, "say hello to heavan", like monkeys flinging some shit around! And for the record, Michael sent bubbles to Naples, Florida, 'cause that friggen simien had all the dirt on Mr. "Touchy-Feely" Jackson! U bess beliedat!
18. Angus - July 7, 2009 2:07 PM
They've scheduled a 21-gun salute at the memorial service. Of course, the guns will be erect 9-year-old penises. Over 10,000 moms submitted applications for their boys to be "used" at the service, because they think Michael Jackson is the greatest human being ever.
Scale that down just a bit and you get what happened all the time at the Neverland ranch. The moms are sicker than MJ was.
19. @18 - July 7, 2009 2:11 PM
sounds more like what happened all the time in your house

22. twzzlrgirl - July 7, 2009 2:32 PM
What a frickin' joke. I'm sorry, but the man was absolutely freakish. Everyone made fun of him -- he was, at best, the punchline of a joke for the last eight to ten years. And now that he's dead, you'd think he had cured cancer or something.
His music, in the eighties, was great. Since then, he has been only known for his ever changing appearance, his bizarre behavior, and his (possible) pedophilia. WTF are we glamorizing him for again????
23. db_ - July 7, 2009 2:35 PM
That's a little bit over the top, even for the King of Pop.

29. grobpilot - July 7, 2009 3:46 PM
Of course, the usual shitbags (Sharpton, J. Jackson, Fox, Diddy, etc..) show up to call attention to themselves under the guise of "honoring" Jackson. Bunch of self-serving fucks. It's amazing the amount of crying and whining going on over the death of someone who, even though he was very talented and popular, really isn't Jesus Christ. As much as these crazy bastards want to elevate him to the status of God, he just isn't.

Plant that kid-touching fucker in the ground already! The only real tragedy is that some bmf prisoner didn't bash his brains out in prison after anal-raping him. That is better treatment than he deserved... but it would be better than this BS memorial.
41. joe chickin - July 7, 2009 5:21 PM
I had something witty to say about Michael in heaven with little boys but the fa_g who runs this site didn't like it. F_U_C_K YOU than pedo lover.

It was a beautiful memorial, and all of you internet tough guys who dwell on false accusations and refuse to remember all the GOOD about Michael Jackson are in the loud, annoying minority.
45. kmm - July 7, 2009 8:09 PM
MJ's name will make more money now, than when he was alive. Just like Tupac. Tupac put out more records dead than alive. My thought is that MJ, Tupac, Elvis, and Biggie are all sitting back on a some unknown island they bought, drinking cold ones and saying something to the effect: Ha Ha!! We got those fuckers good, They think we dead, no bitches, we rich BITCH. That would be the ultimate fuck you!!
Wait for it,
Wait for it................

How fukking Hypocritical can the superficial writer(s) can get?
In this article you say r.i.p in the previous one you said and I quote
"the important thing to remember is at least nobody's kids are getting touched. By Michael Jackson anyway"
I wish you a slow & horrid death!
52. Anaconda Deuce - July 7, 2009 10:53 PM
I'm sick of watching this soap opera death of a fucking child molester. Fuck Michael Jackson, his family of fucking weirdos, and any other shitty celebrity using his death to get back in the spotlight.
53. melinda - July 8, 2009 12:43 AM
may michael jackson finally rest in peace... and I hope people respect his family. No matter what people think his children deserve to live a normal life and shouldn't have to hurt because of all the awful things people can say.. may god bless his family!!!
Rest in peace michael jackson
54. LAGRENOUILLE - July 8, 2009 1:52 AM
The only thing i can remember of the ceremony is how JENNIFER HUDSON BLOWED AWAY MARIA CAREY with her Parkison moves
55. Gregory - July 8, 2009 3:41 AM
I hope MJ shit is over soon. This guy was a good singer and a good dancer and that is ALLL the value he had. He DID nothing of any value, never SAID anything of value and helped kids financially with one hand and molested them with the other. Yet I've heard him being referred to as a "Civil Rights Icon". Gimme an effin break. Only in this great country of ours could a dancing child molester who was a completely MESSED up individual be considered a civil rights icon. No wonder nobody respects Americans. God help us.
56. captain america - July 8, 2009 7:23 AM
I'm glad he was familiar with the word of "BIG", folks!!

58. FACE - July 8, 2009 7:50 AM
This is what this country has come to, Gregory #55. Americans were more concerned about Jackson than the war or what our president was doing over the last week. This is why we are losing our positino as the world leader - the people have no sense of what is of true importance andvalue.
59. Galtacticus - July 8, 2009 7:51 AM
Most of all,the memorial service is for his family, loved ones and fans.To let their tears and grieve go and after that to go on with their lives. For the one who's death,it doesn't matter much.
60. Rhialto - July 8, 2009 7:57 AM
Let the dead bury the dead.

@60 That explains pretty much why the city of LA has to pay the costs.

When watching Michael Jackson's coffin being pushed away by the Jackson Brothers, was anybody else reminded of those two words...
Cool Runnings.
63. Lisa - July 8, 2009 10:45 AM
For everyone that is saying that only black people liked this guy you are sadly mistaken. People were crowded in Germany, Ireland, Japan, Russia, etc..... Not to mention the crowds of white people in Times Square.
So get your facts straight, this guy was loved by people in every country which is impressive. No other musician can touch that.
I'm white by the way.
64. byeMJ - July 8, 2009 2:23 PM
The greastest voice to ever hear. You Always had it Michael. Gone too soon.
65. ThatsFunny - July 8, 2009 4:14 PM
Hey #62... That is funny! I am still laughing at that!
66. RedWright - July 8, 2009 8:25 PM
Please the whole thing was such pomp and circumstance. What about the fake tears from his daughter and Janet trying to be the one consoling her.. God the whole thing was a huge waste of time. It was all a stage performance.
67. chazah - July 8, 2009 11:10 PM
I will always remember MJ from the 1st time I saw him when I was a teenager in the UK and he was a young boy singing 'Ben' - he touched my heart on that day, but the last decade or so of his life was very strange indeed & to me very sad. There was no need for him to change his appearance so drastically, he must have had such self-hatred & self-rejection to go thru such discomfort & pain to change his facial features like that & turn his skin white. He was such a handsome guy & he turned into somethng awful, like a halloween mask - very very sad!! Also his memorial was jst far too much and what on earth was all the dark sunglasses for?? They looked so ridiculous! They acted as if they were royalty, not jst a family in mourning. It was a typical ott american show that reminded me more of Pentecostalism with their loud mouths and pantomiming with some good theatrical performances – it makes them and the show look jst so fake. Could not watch it all as it was becoming a little too sickly sweet & repellent and far too prolonged - they were worshipping him as if he was some sort of god - gross!! Well he certainly was no god, as gods are physically immortal and Michael wasn't! He may live on forever in ppl's memories like Elvis & John Lennon etc... but I want to remember him, as he was when I 1st heard him as a little boy singing "Ben" in the 1970’s, not this ott pretentious performance that I saw on TV ystrdy – it became a bit of a joke and that’s the last thing MJ needed again at his memorial.
68. Narcissist - July 24, 2009 7:40 AM
I thought it was a parody of itself.
That girl might have actually been crying but I bet someone engineered it that way.
Al Sharpton:
"Just say 'forever' over and over. Saps will eat that shit up! And get one of those kids to cry on TV. That'll make an EXCELLENT soundbyte!"
...later that same day...
Jermaine Jackson:
"...and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, infinity."
