What I find amazing is a woman's ability to equate some kind of performance talent to "cute." This guy, at least from these photos, certainly doesn't come across as "cute," "fine," or "OMG handsome." Take off his tie and he looks like any guy in high school shop class. But give him a role on TV or in a movie, or hand him a guitar, and all of a sudden he's transformed into something that gets women damp in the panties. About Twilight being a teen thing... yeah, it is for sure, but I'm over 40 and I loved the books too. As far as this dude being Edward, he isn't how I pictured Edward either, but I'm withholding judgement until I see the movie. His look fits enough that if the performance is good he will have pulled it off.

Regarding the casting overall, I think Bella actress is right on, but the vampires should have been more attractive, with the exception of the Dr. Cullen actor, who seems like a perfect fit. But again, maybe it will all come together in the movie.

A few people here might know what I am talking about. I would hope most girls in the Twilight demographic aren't hanging out on a site as morally questionable as this one.

Robert wouldn't of been my first pick for Edward either. I would of picked someone like Jay Kenneth Johnson (Phillip Days of Our Lives), Hayden Christensen, or even Chace Crawford. I can't see Henry Cavill as Edward at all, he looks too old to be 17 first of all and second of all I don't see him looking that great with blonder colored hair. I can't think of anyone that is actually around 17 years old that would of been a good choice for Edward either, since Edward is described as kind of looking like a Greek God. I can live with Pattinson I guess, but I still think there were better choices for his part. No one could possibly measure up to what Edward is in the book, as far as looks go, but still they could of done better with the casting of him. Kristen Stewart as Bella is right on, that is exactly how I picture Bella. The only cast member that looks out of place to me is Nikki Reed as Rosalie. Since Nikki is naturally dark haired, putting a blond wig on her looks so strange and fake.
