I applaud McCain for being able to poke fun at himself, something Obama is completely unable to do since he thinks he's the messiah come to earth. He wants to raise taxes exponentially for the wealthy, so who's going to want to succeed in America if they're just going to tax you into the ground? Prejudicing someone because they or their ancestors worked hard and accomplished something is just as wrong as prejudicing someone who's skin is a different color. Who's going to want to become a doctor or a lawyer if they'd make the same amount of money as the guy bagging groceries? The rich provide the employment, people, without them millions of Americans would be jobless. Maybe if we didn't hand out tax dollars to the lazy slobs who refuse to work we could actually turn things around.

America is about working hard to succeed, it's not about cranking out children and then having your hand out for money to feed them. Every person I've ever seen use food stamps was buying chips, frozen pizza and cigarettes so forgive me if I'm not exactly jumping at the chance to have my hard earned money pay for their starving kids.

Universal health care is a terrible idea. Again, part of the reason we have so many good doctors, dentists, ect. is because it's a rich industry and a lot of people go into it to make money. Universal healthcare would equal cheaper procedures with less profit, thus equaling less doctors and lower standards out of desperation. Sure you can have heart surgery for $100 but the guy operating on you graduated from Jim's House o' Learnin' with a 1.0 GPA.

This would be the same for abortions, which if Obama gets his way would be completely legalized but also covered under universal health care which would mean even less competent doctors performing the incredibly dangerous operations.

And I think it's incredibly racist to even consider voting for Obama just because he's black ( which is honestly a stretch ). Yet a lot of people are doing just that, you could read them a list of McCain's policies and achievements and tell them they're Obama's and they'd believe you because they know no more about him than the color of his skin and his "Change" brainwashing mantra.

Wow, seriously? Bill Clinton was too busy having sex with anything that moved to do anything good for our country. His lax views on security and foreign affairs are what caused 9/11 and the resulting war. And I second #60, why would people want to go out and spend their money when half of it is being taken away by the government? And I thoroughly encourage you all to read about Fairtax, which if we could get it passed would mean absolutely no taxes taken out of your paycheck and an increased sales tax. So you get to take everything you earn home and it's only when you purchase something that you would pay tax. All of the drug dealers and under-the-board merchants who don't currently have to pay anything in taxes would have to pay the same as the rest of us, the same goes for the illegal immigrants who come up here and don't have to pay taxes since they're not working legitimately.

McCain did some funny skits on there a few years ago. Classy speech when he conceded, too. I think his party advisors/controllers pushed him into some mistakes that he didn't like. They didn't crucify Palin for her disastrous impact, either.
