Aug 19 2008Christina Applegate '100 percent clear' of breast cancer
Christina Applegate has pwned breast cancer. In an interview today on Good Morning America, Christina revealed that doctors were able to successfully remove the cancer, and she's good to go. ABC News reports:
"I'm clear," the star of "Samantha Who?" said. "Absolutely 100 percent clear and clean. ... They got everything out so I'm definitely not going to die from breast cancer."
Congratulations to Christina on her speedy recovery, and also, thanks for keeping it a secret that I cured you with my sexiness. True story.
EDIT: So, when I wrote this post late last night there was no talk of double mastectomies. Fortunately, Christina Applegate is remarkably positive about the whole thing according to the AP: "I'm going to have cute boobs 'til I'm 90, so there's that. I'll have the best boobs in the nursing home. I'll be the envy of all the ladies around the bridge table." Breast implants: Is there anything they can't solve?

You know, for the mantle.

I always wanted to see her naked. Now, not so much. She should sell those cancer-ridden boobs on Ebay. I hope the cancer comes back in her ass.

Cancer is not funny at all... just like Married with Children.
Fish, you kind of fucked this story up. The double mastectomy is a detail you might have wanted to include in your "story." Best of luck to her.
19. Christopher - August 19, 2008 12:24 PM
She cured it with a complete double mastectomy. I can't believe you missed that piece of the puzzle. She's preparing to undergo 8 months of complete reconstructive surgery to get the puppies back, albeit plastic ones.

Give me your dirty love. Like some tacky little pamphlet in your daddy's bottom drawer. I don't believe you never seen his dirty little book before.
I don't need no consolation, I don't want your reservation. I only got one destination, and that's your dirty love.
Just like your mama makes her fuzzy poodle do - Give me your dirty love the way your mama made that nasty poodle chew. I'll ignore your cheap aroma
and your little-bo-peep diploma. I'll just put you in a coma, with my dirty love

This happens everytime you inject $250,000 worth of liquified cash directly into the tumor.

Exactly #22.
Wouldn't it be nice if everyone could have the very best treatment? I I love how celebrities brag about overcoming illnesses seeing as they are constantly pampered and taken care of and can afford you the best doctors money can buy. I wonder if this bitch will donate even half as much money as she spent on her own treatment to breast cancer research, somehow I think NOT. The rest of her quote went on to say that when she first found out was that she was so angry she was shaking. I have seen it a lot and dealt with bad diagnosis' myself and I've never heard of anyone's first reaction being anger, seems a little self righteous, like who the fuck told you that life owed you anything, a little humility and a reaction of sadness and shock is normal, but anger " like how dare cancer attack me I'm too special for cancer" whatever.
I hope this woman goers to a children's hospital and gets herself some perspective.
P.S. Lady a lot of woman do die of cancer and don't have the means to get the treatment you did so a little decorum and dignity in your comments would be nice.

100% breastalicous once again.

This lady looks a little ugly. But I saw she has a profile with many hot Bikini photos at a celeb site richromances.com where celebrities and wealthy singles are hooking up.
26. sammy - August 19, 2008 1:18 PM
Oh well. I spanked myself to the boobies countless times, and now those luscious lady lumps are just medical waste in the operating room waste basket.
Tis a shame.

#23 From another story:" She said she's starting a program to help women at high risk for breast cancer to meet the costs of an MRI, which is not always covered by insurance."
Maybe read up on her before you assume she won't be putting her money where her mouth is?
29. Serendipity - August 19, 2008 2:43 PM
Glad to hear the surgery was a success.
Although she ain't 'cured' yet. What, isn't it like 5 years b4 you're considered 'cured'? And wow, hard decision to go with a double M right off the bat like that. Although i'd probably do it too.
And wow. She's like a year older than me and has tons more wrinkles. She's lookin' old around the eyes and throat.

I'm not a fan, never have been, even when Married with Children was on the air but I do the Terry Fox run for cancer each year and want to say you're a stronger woman now for going what you've gone through.
May you continue to be a face for cancer support and research.
All the best,
Randal

shouldn't this read "christina applegate 100% clear of breasts"? i'm sure she won't have any trouble affording new ones.
37. um no - August 19, 2008 5:15 PM
#28 I'm quite sure she is going to be RAISING money for this program as is the celebrity trend; they lend their celebrity status to get other people to open their walets and donate very little of their own money. All I said was I doubt she'll donate even half of what she spent on her own treatment to the cause. So far no proof that I'm wrong. Which I would prefer to be BTW.

And they don't generally care until it's something that affects them, then suddenly it's OMGS LISTEN TO ME WE NEED TO GET RID OF THIS DISEASE NOW OMGS GIMMIE YOUR MONIES. And they talk about it like we've never heard of [insert illness] before.
But anyway this isn't really the time or place. Neither is this but I just want to say while i'm here- She is not that hot. Never was. And looks REALLY old. I mean before the whole cancer thing, even 5 years ago she looked busted.
Sorry

45. joho777 - August 20, 2008 8:51 AM
I'm amazed.
My wife had breast cancer, and was horrified when the doctor suggested early on that removing one breast might be necessary.
I applaud Christina Applegate for being brave enough to take this step. Most women would shrink from volunteering to have their breasts removed. Especially women in a shallow superficial field like acting.
And it doesn't take being a millionaire for you to get the best doctors and care, just a good insurance plan.
My wife Evelyn died from complications associated with breast cancer. But she went out without pain or fear.
She was very brave and strong, and very determined. When her doctor told her that they could destroy her new cancer with chemo, she asked him, "What will happen then?" He said, "In 6 months, you are going to get another one."
She told him that she was done with Intensive Care, with being in the hospital, and that she wanted to go home.
And so she did. Her remaining days were happy and peaceful at home with me, and with our cats. She really didn't want to die in the hospital, and she didn't have to.
46. Joe Torre - August 20, 2008 6:15 PM
Boy, that Evelyn sounds like a real douchebag. Why didn't she kill herself instead of wasting everyone's time and money trying to halt her slow spiral to death? What a nerve on that c*nt. Good thing nobody gives a shit anyway. She's dead and Christina isn't and in the end, isn't that all that really matters? Life is great!
47. ignore the troll above me - August 20, 2008 11:14 PM
but FYI sentimentality or any sort of show of emotion that does not involve an erection or wanting to literally kill someone is always a bad idea on these kind of sites.
48. Joe Torre - August 21, 2008 12:36 PM
Right on. You got that right. This isn't the Lifetime Channel. Why in the world would that idiot think anyone would give a crap about his douchbag wife? This story was about someone who means something to the rest of the world not him or his dead wife. Think of all that wasted medical care. She couldn't just crawl into a corner and die alone, she had to drag her family along on her miserable death spiral, turning her husband into a sniveling, whiny bitch on the way leaving him so stupid he turns to a superficial blog about Christina Applegate's tits to tell the world what a douchebag his dead wife was. Nobody Cares. Christina's tits are the only thing that matters here. (Sorry, I know I should have used past tense but though her tits are gone they will not be forgotten.) RIP Christina's tits. sniff. You were loved by all.

I'm sure she doesn't feel as good as she's making out publicly. She's very young to go through such an ordeal and I wish her well. Her new show is absolutely hilareous and I hope it goes on for seasons and seasons. I've like her so much ever since I saw her on Punk'it where they had a little boy interviewing people on the red carpet. He pretended to mistake her for Christina Agueleria....she was ever so sweet to the little boy and I think that's a testament to her true nature. She really is just a sweet girl.
