May 9 2008Nick Hogan gets 8 months in jail
Nick Bollea (a.k.a. Nick Hogan) was sentenced to eight months in Florida County Jail today after pleading no contest to charges of felony reckless driving. Wow, a book finally got thrown at a celeb that deserved it. Check out the details from People:
In addition to the jail time, which begins immediately, Bollea, 17, was sentenced to 5 years probation, during which he will serve 500 hours of community service, not be allowed to drink any alcohol and have his driver's license revoked for 3 years.
"I think there is an understanding of what happened, and there is a sense of acceptance of responsibility," the judge said, explaining his decision. "There is nothing that the court can impose that is close to what John has dealt with or will have to deal with as he moves forward."
Leaving the courthouse, Bollea's family did not address reporters. His attorneys did say that Bollea was "happy" with the sentence, and happy that the case was finished.
All I have to say is, Brooke, if you need any comforting, I'm here for you. Back massage, dip in the hot tub, erotic Parcheesi, you name it. I'm here for you like a rock. A strong rock with rock pecs, biceps and rocky good looks carved from, well, rocks. But moving on, I know it must be tough thinking your dad's money would save your brother, but these things happen. So, please, don't hesitate to call - or even put on a bikini and drive to my house. You know, to start the healing process. It's all about the healing.
EDIT: Added photos of Nick and his family in court. Still can't believe this kid got any jail time at all. I figured they'd take away his PlayStation for a few days, but then totally give it back after he says "I'm sorry, mama."

What, the superfish writer is trying to woo & romance Brooke now? I don't get it, isn't he the one always making fun of her & her manly ways? I wonder how many writers there really are for this thing; who's behind the curtain???

Right on! Little punk ass son of a bitch......I'm glad this happened. Although, I am a little shocked, I figured he would get off with a tiny slap on the wrist. I hope someone beats his worthless ass while he's in jail.

8 months in count jail when he was facing 5 years is a stroll in the park.
7. Samantha Jones - May 9, 2008 4:54 PM
Why on Earth would you want to comfort that ugly, flat-assed, spoiled bitch with dick? Her entire white trash family deserves to be quartered and hung in Times Square!
8. veggi - May 9, 2008 4:54 PM
They reduced it from 5 years to 8 months because he's a HERO for (almost) taking out a guy who was a uniformed AMERICAN TERRORIST in Iraq. Maybe now the souls of the innocent women and children he killed can find peace.
9. restingonlaurels - May 9, 2008 4:58 PM
and how long before he's released due to "overcrowding"?
10. Stunman Mike - May 9, 2008 5:01 PM
8 months for putting someone into a permanent vegetative state? Should have served the full 5 years.

Yes it's a pity that a large percentage of humanity finds war thrilling and just. I wonder how these cowards would feel if they were the ones being fucked over with nowhere to turn to.
Die off watch...oil continues to climb in price as will food and everything else. Poor stupid Americans. They let there country get taken from them. And the dumber ones support the thieves because they were told that Jesus talked to their leader. Christ likes a good war.
Enjoy your coming poverty.

Wow what's the fascination with turning everything into a discussion on war lately? Go find some place where people actually go to discuss that. Nobody here comes so that they can debate the politics. Grow the hell up.
#8 & #11 are obviously the same child. Kiddo, your mom's calling you, get off her computer.
13. woodhorse - May 9, 2008 5:15 PM
Too bad he didn't get 8 months of paralysis. 8 months of paralysis in County. 8 months of paralysis in County in Russia.

"Wow what's the fascination with turning everything into a discussion on war lately? Go find some place where people actually go to discuss that. Nobody here comes so that they can debate the politics. Grow the hell up."
People who say that never read about or discuss politics. They pretend that they do, and that they follow celebrities as a diverting hobby from all the seriousness they're otherwise engaged in. But it's a lie. They don't follow the news, they don't educate themselves about important issues that affect everybody's lives, and they don't cast informed votes, if in fact they vote (the last presidential election had the highest turnout since 1968...all the way to almost 61%...gee, wow). It's easy to prove - hundreds of surveys have shown that people lack basic factual knowledge about most political issues affecting their government and their lives. Spending hours every day following celebs (including blogging) isn't a hobby or a diversion, it's a substitute. The irony is that you also hear a lot of ranting about politicians "not doing anything" about problems, like high gas prices. If you can't be bothered to be involved, then your complaints are easily ignored.
(btw, #12, I know you're "Canadian." My condolences.)

Hey Superfish..check out this website: Dicksim.com...Dude is too stupid to write his own blog so he copies your stuff pretty much on a daily basis. I called him on it in his comments but he doesn't post the comments...wonder why?

19. Stanley - May 9, 2008 6:08 PM
Nick looks way older than 17??!!??
20. smashboogie - May 9, 2008 6:11 PM
Is that Hulk's "dressy" bandana? What a fucking pod.
21. Jayster - May 9, 2008 6:14 PM
Say what! Nick Bollea is a celebrity? Since when? If he were a celebrity he would have blamed everyone but himself and expected preferential treatment. He screwed up, he owned up, now he's paying up. I admire the stones. Good Luck, Nick! Learn your lesson, pay your dues, come out a better person for it.
22. justicetake2 - May 9, 2008 6:14 PM
BAHAHAHAHHAHAAHAHAH finally some sweet justice toward celebs. I hope that fucker gets ass raped so bad in jail. He looks like fresh pussy meat. He will get fucked by the guard bringing him to his cell.

If you want to discuss politics and war, why don't you go to one of those web site blogs. You are really stupid to come to this web site, which is for celeb bashing only. Oh, it must be because you don't know what the fuck you are talking about, and if you go to an appropriate political web basing site you will get put in your place. Now off with you....
27. Alex - May 9, 2008 7:08 PM
He's gonna be gangraped by so many people wearing do-rags that he'll go into a catatonic fetal position every time his dad comes around. That'll go over well.
28. Rabbit - May 9, 2008 8:09 PM
First off, how the hell did the Judge let ass-wipe Hulkster continue to wear that pathetic do-rag in court? Every court I've ever been in, the judges dont allow any crap like that! Hell, the last time the judge made some guy remove his lip ring!
And thank god Nick got a real sentence! not some pussy slap on the wrist!
29. Pussy Monster - May 9, 2008 8:19 PM
8 months? Yeah right, his ass will be out in a week. Nowadays these celebrities don't even finish their full sentences. Hell look at Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie.
30. Lulu - May 9, 2008 9:53 PM
They say 8 months, but I tend to agree with #29 - it'll probably be reduced to hours/days and then out. One can only hope, beyond hope, that he gets to enjoy his ass-rapery during how ever little time he spends there. "Do you like Merlot? I make it in the toilet"
31. fattytissue - May 9, 2008 10:36 PM
"Wow, a book finally got thrown at a celeb that deserved it."
Are we really referring to this douche-tard as a celebrity?? Pffft.
32. Raven - May 9, 2008 10:39 PM
He won't do the full eight months. And jail is different from prison, I am betting he will be in a workhouse type of environment.
Also, while what he did was wrong, his friend did get into the car with him when Nick had been drinking. He should have used better judgment. Something tells me he wasn't sitting there saying "Please slow down, Nick. Please?"
And I won't get into war and politics. Something tells me most of you are under 25 and don't know jack about the real world. That will change. I was once like you.
33. Me_You_Asshat - May 9, 2008 10:57 PM
He's gonna come out with an extremely large rectal opening.
34. JungleRed - May 10, 2008 12:21 AM
No, really, I'm asking...where'd you go?
35. David - May 10, 2008 1:47 AM
Maybe the hulk should have thought twice about wearing a headband in a courtroom retard
36. cavy - May 10, 2008 2:02 AM
YES....there IS a God! If Nick hadn't gotten this sentence, he would have continued to be a punk ass brat! Hell, he'll probably continue to be one, but he just might think twice about pulling another stunt like that!!!
37. bosendorfer - May 10, 2008 3:20 AM
let's get to the point.
horrible, horrifying tragedy for all involved; jerk-off, meathead, shithead, classless celebrity's son got off very easy -- up front. probably, with time, this crime will eat him to the bone and he'll become an alcoholic or a non-profit "humanitarian," working more to show other's how selfless and benevolent he is, versus working with any authentic positive intent. this "pro-wrestler's" son should be confined to los angeles and/or florida as they're the assholes of the united states. "when in rome...."
can you imagine being wholly incapacitated at that age and then LIVING? go read some dalton trumbo.
38. Lindsays - May 10, 2008 7:06 AM
Oh,what"s a pity .I saw his profile on milllionaire datingsite---- "AffluentBachelors.com" -----last week. Is he single now?.
39. Hoobajooba - May 10, 2008 8:17 AM
Thing is, kids, this trial took place in Florida, not California. People actually go to jail in Florida, wether they're famous or not. Also, they generally do their full sentence because prisons are a major industry here. (We have lots of them.)
So I guess let this be a warning to celebrities: stay in your little west coast fantsy world, don't come back east, or we *will* kill and eat you. And ask for seconds.

Eight months in jail?
Oh no, brother!
What's he gonna DOOO!
(I can't believe the comments have gotten this far without someone else having typed that. Pardon me--I just couldn't resist.)
I suppose Nick didn't say his prayers nor did he eat his vitamins.
I also suppose the judge is lucky that Hulk didn't "unleash the pythons," as, though they're somewhat diminished, they're still formidable and could have done considerable damage to said judge's cranium.
**affects British accent** "Carry on."
42. 1 MILF Hunter - May 10, 2008 11:34 AM
If you can't do the time, don't do the crime, brotha. Bring the Astroglide, Nick. You'll need in in the klink.
43. Val - May 10, 2008 4:26 PM
Did anybody see the big gulp this kid took after the judge said 8 MONTHS? It was like a cartoon gulp lol. Was he actually thinking he would go free? And di anybody see the court video? All the Hogan spoke about was themselves. MY family, my son, me, I, I. Idiots!
44. George Washington - May 10, 2008 5:04 PM
I would welcome 8 months in an American prison over spending 1 day in europe or canada.... you stinking ass cowards.
45. Yessir - May 10, 2008 8:08 PM
Meh, he'll be out in five months. The real story is the Hulskter rockin the doo rag in court while wearing all black.

Yeah we don't play in Florida with crap like this... Im suprised he didn't get more time.
49. STeve - May 11, 2008 8:14 AM
The little twirp should have received more jailtime. He's been an arrogant little prick who thinks he's above the law and has shown little remorse for his "friend" whose life he has ruined. He had 4 speeding tickets recently, not your typical 10 mph over the speed limit and was a disaster waiting to happen:
The first speeding ticket was for going 115 mph in a 70 mph zone. Then 57 in a 30. Followed by a 106 in a 70. Two weeks before the crash Bollea got another speeding ticket for going 82 mph in 45 mph construction zone in Pinellas Park.
He got off too easy.
50. angela - May 11, 2008 12:22 PM
A cakewalk for him he got off SOOOOOO easy!!! im sure he will actually serve like 3 months for basically killing his friend who is going to be living on life support for the rest of his life!

Is that the Hulk's new girlfriend or his daughter?
55. brutha! - May 11, 2008 5:58 PM
I honestly don't think Hulk has that much money. Not that he's poor or anything, but doesn't have multi-millions. Sure, he's made major money over the years, doesn't mean he spent it wisely. Hell, look at that Hogan Knows Best show, their house looks like shit.
And he's always looking to put his name on a product and is always running back to Vince McMahon. I'm guessing with his materialist wife and kids, for every nickle he made, he's spent a dime of it.

Did anybody notice that they ordered him not to drink for 3 years only? Really? Because I'm pretty sure it will still be illegal for him to drink in 3 years
