Wesley Snipes faces trial for tax fraud on Monday and the IRS has revealed documents that show the actor failed to pay taxes on $37.9 million in income from 1999 to 2004. On top of that Wesley Snipes also tried to get fraudulent tax refunds for almost $11 million, according to Reuters:
Snipes, 45, was charged in a 2006 indictment along with a known tax protester and a former accountant whom the U.S. Justice Department said had been barred by a federal court from preparing other people's tax returns. The tax fraud occurred at a time when Snipes was signing movie deals worth more than $10 million each for "Blade II" and "Blade: Trinity," according to the prosecution's summary.

This happens because celebs do not pay their own bills let alone get them in the mail. They pay accountants to do it. In some cases like Sharon Stone or Alan Funt, they get screwed over by them. Funt got cleaned out by a crooked accountant or the accountant forgets to do something like their clients taxes because they are skimming off the top. This is why many celebs go broke because someone else is reading their bills.
Rule #343 of being a millionare celeb, pay your own bills. Keep track of your own money.

Since this is an old story, perhaps you could have found out if the IRS investigated the accountant. If Snipes story is true, they should charge the accountant and fine Snipes a lot less. But maybe Snipes is just trying to pass the blame.

Fuck taxes! Fuck the IRS! My hubby and I both had ZERO exemptions on our W-4's last year (you know, because it says RIGHT ON THE FUCKING FORM to put zero if you're married to avoid having too little taxes taken out) and we still ended up owing $1900. So, all year long we're paying about 26% of our checks to the IRS and at the end of the year what do we get...another fucking bill! I even called the IRS to find out if things had been miscalculated, but nope, $1900. Their advice? Have a kid (nice and sensitive for a couple who can't have kids). And how is it that bitches on welfare get tax returns? What kind of bullshit is that? How the fuck do you get a refund on a fucking handout? Go ahead Westley, it makes me feel good that he swindled the government out of a shitload of money.

Well, he didn't really commit any fraud, because there is NO LAW written anywhere that states that United States citizens are required to pay a federal income tax. People just assume that we have to pay them, because people have been doing it for so long.
Ever heard of the 16th ammendment? No new taxes? Income taxes never exsisted before then. And if you want to use the argument " well then how are we suppose to pay for the services we recieve from the government?" look at all the other taxes that we pay. INCOME TAXES AE ILLEGAL!
