Reality star Shayne Lamas was picked up for a DUI Saturday night and, in a move worthy of a Kardashian, immediately issued a statement to E! News to cash in on the publicity:
"Early Saturday morning, after consuming one drink, I willingly drove through a mandatory check point on my way home with complete confidence of passing," Lamas tells E! News. "However, the breathalyzer indicated that I was over the legal limit of blood alcohol content and was arrested onsite.
"I take full responsibility for my lack of judgment. I have always strived to be a role model for my friends, family and fans and have never nor will ever condone drinking and driving. I apologize for all those I have disappointed, including myself."
Really? A potentially lethal DUI to get some press? Has Shayne Lamas never heard about sex tapes before? I mean, shit, her dad was married to Shauna Sand. I assumed that was their first step-mother/daughter talk. "You're practicing to become a talented actress so you'll make it in this town? HAHAHAHA! Go get the camcorder."

Oct 29 2009Stephanie Pratt formally charged with DUI
Seen here conveniently riding a bike yesterday because attention whoring is in her blood, Stephanie Pratt has been formally charged with DUI despite her protests that she was barely drunk. TMZ reports:
Pratt's two breathalyzer tests registered .08 and .09 -- the legal limit is .08 -- so she was arrested and held on $5,000 bail.
If convicted, Pratt could face up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine.
As someone who has driven home many times thinking the glove box was the steering wheel, I feel for Stephanie Pratt because she just hit the legal limit. Then again, kids, you roll the dice anytime you get behind the wheel after drinking, and sometimes you lose. (Except in my case because I stick to the cornfields.)

Seen here in her only useful form, Stephanie Pratt just got snagged for DUI early this morning, according to TMZ:
Law enforcement tells us Pratt, who appears frequently on MTV's "The Hills," was busted this morning at 3:45 AM PT in Hollywood.
She was taken into custody. Her bail is set at $5,000.
While it's a shame Stephanie's set such a bad example for the 13-year-old girls who watch The Hills, the true tragedy here is that she didn't at least have the decency to eject Spencer through the windshield after hitting a tree. Where does the selfishness end with these kids?

Here's Lindsay Lohan appearing in court today after it was revealed she failed to complete the alcohol education classes required for her probation. She almost reminds me of Lara Flynn Boyle on The Practice if Lara Flynn Boyle bathed in coke and had the acting skills of a tit mouse.

Oct 16 2009Lindsay Lohan in court for skipping alcohol ed classes
Lindsay Lohan was ordered to court today for failing to satisfy the requirements of her probation from her 2007 DUI arrest. TMZ reports:
As we first reported, the Right On Programs -- which Lindsay was ordered to attend as part of her DUI probation -- notified the judge that Lindsay was not satisfying the requirements of the program. Now we have details.
Sources tell TMZ Lindsay had gotten a leave of absence from the course a while back so she could leave the state and work. Time passed and Lindsay never got back in touch with the program so officials there contacted the judge.
Is anyone really surprised that Lindsay is fucking up her probation? Of course she bailed on her alcohol education courses. She probably showed up the first day all excited then dove out the window when she realized there's not actually booze in the room to educate her mouth. What's even more retarded is these people seriously believed Lindsay was working when she stopped showing up. I could understand if she said she was busy wrestling the Loch Ness Monster or traveling through time in a DeLorean. But working? C'mon. Not even Britney Spears would fall for that one, and yesterday I watched her gnaw on a fire hydrant convinced it was candy.

Former actress/80s music video star Tawny Kitaen was arrested for DUI yesterday, according to LA Times:
Newport Beach police Sgt. Shontel Sherwood says Kitaen was arrested at about 3 p.m. Saturday when officers suspected she had been driving her Range Rover under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Kitaen was still in custody early Saturday evening.
So was she riding on the hood at the time of the arrest? Because I'm failing to see the crime in that. Whitesnake taught Tawny the sexiest way possible to drive a car and where do we as a "society" get off telling her it's wrong? I do that shit all the time and I've only killed, maybe, five or six people. At most. Usually my catapulted body just does a lot of property damage, so really there's nothing to worry about.

Burn Notice star Jeffrey Donovan was quietly picked up for suspicion of DUI last weekend, TMZ reports:
The star of that show "Burn Notice" may have been a little too lit up when he got behind the wheel last weekend -- dude was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence in Miami Beach.
TMZ has learned Jeffrey Donovan was arrested on suspicion of DUI last Sunday, July 12th. The 41-year-old posed for a cop cam and was released several hours later.
I wonder if he noticed that burn. A ha ha! Ha. Ha. Ha...

Mar 16 2009Lindsay Lohan's warrant quashed
Lindsay Lohan's warrant has been dismissed today after her lawyer provided a Beverly Hills judge with proof the actress is enrolled in alcohol education classes. People reports:
"The warrant is quashed and set aside," Judge Marsha Revel said. "I've seen additional proof ... that Lohan has been compliant with [her] program. There is no indication of dirty [drug] tests." The judge also ordered that Lohan show new proof of enrollment by April 3."This was all much to do about nothing," Lohan's attorney Shawn Chapman Holley said following the hearing Monday. "[Lohan] has satisfied all the conditions of her probation, and I have every expectation that she'll successfully complete those terms."
Well, now that that's out of the way; Hollywood, you're free to pursue Lindsay Lohan for acting work again. Let the offers begin! - - Don't hold back. Just fire away.
