Sam Lufti pleaded his case to Ryan Seacrest last night and said he has a “moral obligation” to help Britney, according to E! Online:
"You meet her and she cries, and she begs you not to turn on her," Lutfi said in an emotional phone call to Seacrest at roughly 8:15 p.m. Thursday. "You would do the same for any of your sisters. I have three sisters—I would do the same for them."
Sam also claims that Britney doesn’t pay him and he hasn’t accepted a dime from the media. He then shared his feelings on Britney’s family and is through trying to keep the peace:
And while Spears' parents continue to cast doubt on him and object to his intervention in their daughter's life, they're the ones who are "incapable of telling the truth and incapable of sympathizing," Lutfi said, adding that "they're more concerned about money and their own image than Britney's condition."
Sam ended the phone call by getting into Britney’s brand new Mercedes Benz which he drove back to her mansion. He comforted himself by watching movies on her ridiculously large HD TV and helped himself to the fridge. Afterwards he relaxed in the Jacuzzi and wondered if this is how Jesus felt after he helped all those people. Then he noticed something was clogging one of the jets. Aw, gross, it’s a tickler – and a chicken wing. Dammit, Britney.
EDIT: So apparently, after all this time, it's actually Sam LuTFi not Sam LuFTi. Great, now this douchebag is bringing me down. I'll get you, LUFTFI!
Feb 1 2008Britney Spears is 'gravely disabled'
Britney Spears has apparently been labeled “gravely disabled” by UCLA doctors which means she’s a candidate for involuntary commitment. Apparently she’s unable to take care of basic needs such as food and shelter. Really? Because she’s constantly out to eat or checking into hotels. I’m no psychiatrist but I’m pretty sure that’s food and shelter. Anyway, Britney is considered to be in a “manic state” and was hurling accusations at her mom which TMZ elaborated on:
We first reported that Britney accused her mother of sleeping with her boyfriend. Now we have more. We're told Britney screamed, "The only reason she's admitting me is because she wants to be alone with her boyfriend! She wants to sleep with my boyfriend!!" Britney never said exactly who she was talking about.
When Brit calmed down, she talked about her kids, how much she misses them and how it's unfair that she doesn't have them.
But fear not fellow Britney lovers! Britney is seeing the best of psychiatrists, according to People:
"She's an excellent clinician and an excellent psychiatrist," says Harold Young, the clinical director at the Maple Counseling Center in Beverly Hills, where Spears's psychiatrist Dr. Deborah Nadel worked for about five years.
In the meantime, Sam Lufti has been making In-N-Out Burger runs for Britney. Can’t acquire food, huh? Those better be therapeutic cheeseburgers otherwise I’ll cry “shenanigans!” Then it’ll only be a matter of time until CNN follows my lead. Little known fact: Wolf Blitzer’s my bitch. Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to send my little Wolfman on a coffee run. I like it fresh from Colombia.
Jan 31 2008Sam Lufti to make medical decisions for Britney
There's nothing like waking up in the morning and finding out Britney Spears went insane again while you were sleeping. As I'm sifting through the deluge of info, it appears Sam Lufti is was the point man with the doctors who are taking care of Britney. During her last trip to the hospital, she signed some form stating she doesn't want her parents involved in any type of medical emergency, according to TMZ:
We're told her dad had gone ballistic back then, screaming and swearing at Lutfi -- even pushing him -- in front of Britney. As to what paperwork was signed, the cleanest thing would be if Britney signed a durable power of attorney, giving someone power to make medical decisions on her behalf in an emergency. We are told no such document was signed, but somehow Britney made it clear she wanted Lutfi to make those decisions.
Obviously her parents have called in all kinds of lawyers to get this mess straightened out. In the meantime, E! Online is reporting that Sam is the one who contacted Britney's psychiatrist to get the ball rolling. Plans had been laid for days to get Britney hospitalized and the LAPD was ready for the call:
Lutfi was said to be key in making it happen, even over the objections of the singer's recently reunited mother, Lynne.
"The scene inside the house was chaos," the insider continued. "Lynne was shouting at police. She didn't want them to take Britney away at first. It was a zoo."
Here's an interesting little item that I remembered from yesterday on TMZ. Britney and Sam got into a loud screaming match in front of the paps over who would drive her new Mercedes Benz. The Benz that Sam made her go out and buy while her parents were in town. He was spotted driving the car to the hospital this morning. It seems like Britney is Sam's goose that lays the golden eggs. As long as he keeps her in the hospital, he still gets to have McMuffins. Or maybe an omelet. Western style. I guess what I'm trying to say is, I haven't had breakfast yet.

Britney Spears was taken from her home early this morning in an ambulance. She’s currently checked into UCLA for mental evaluation, according to People:
"She went willingly. It was like something in her heart was telling her she should go. She knew something was wrong," confidant Sam Lutfi tells PEOPLE.
However Sam Lufti may no longer be speaking for Britney. TMZ is reporting that Britney’s parents are taking control of the situation and are working with a judge to get control of Britney:
We're told Britney's mother, father and brother have been "working closely with the LAPD for weeks" to get her back in for psychiatric care. There is now a dogfight between Britney's family and Sam Lutfi over who will make medical decisions, however, that fight is now put on hold because the judge now makes the call.
Apparently it was Britney Spears' new psychiatrist who called the ambulance last night to get the ball rolling. There was no suicide attempt which had previously been rumored. Britney is back on 5150 hold and this time her parents are looking to it extend it for 14 days. As of this post, there has been no sign of Dr. Phil. He’s probably still firing up the Phil-jet.

Britney Spears' parents came into town Monday night with plans of staging an intervention to get Britney mental help. Yesterday afternoon, Sam Lufti persuaded Britney to go car-shopping and they brought Lynne Spears along. It didn’t go well, according to People:
"Lynne and Britney were arguing in the car the whole time. They're both upset and arguing, not having a good time at all," an onlooker tells PEOPLE.
After 15 minutes at the dealership, Britney drove a black Escalade off the lot. "After she came out, she pulled over to the side of the road to argue with her mom more," adds the onlooker.
TMZ then reported that Sam was disrupting the family’s intervention, so Sam called TMZ’s own Harvey Levin to set the record straight. Presumably through grave-pissing:
Lutfi said of the family, "They have an agenda. Their agenda is jealously because they don't fit in. I do. They see her three times a year."
Britney was by the phone during Lutfi's conversation with Levin. Lutfi claimed he did not force Britney to buy a car, asking Brit, "Did I force you to buy a car." In a heavy southern accent she responded, "No." He continued, "Do I ever bug you." She replied, "We argue."
Family sources tell TMZ that Sam is a “megalomaniac” who is “motivated by evil.” I disagree. I see Sam Lufti as more of a “douchebag” who is motivated by “crazy vagina.” Yeah, that’s right. I can use fancy medical terms too.

Jan 29 2008Britney Spears has a mini-meltdown
Britney Spears got into what is assumed to be an argument last night with Sam Lufti. Britney and Sam were pulling up to the gate of her house when Britney jumped out of the car. She appeared to be crying and was clutching her dog London. People reports:
Wearing brown high heels, cutoff shorts and a plaid fedora, Spears then seemed to downplay the incident, saying, "I'm fine. I'm . . . having a nice time with my dog." (She later hopped into a car with another photographer, Filipe Teixeira, who gave her a lift to Ralph's supermarket in Studio City, before bringing her home. He and another photographer pal were then invited inside, where they spent the remainder of the night.)
After being out of the picture for a while, Adnan Ghalib appeared was not allowed past the gate. The guards had instructions to keep him out. Adnan showed his fellow paps a text from Sam that claims he is a “manic trigger.” Meanwhile, Britney’s parents showed up at the house:
The family reunion didn't last long, however – as Spears, clutching a bag, bolted from the mansion, says a source. She hopped into a car with Ghalib and the two sped off.
Their getaway hit a speed bump, however, when their car got a flat tire. (Spears is no stranger to vehicular malfunction.) The two pulled into a Chevron to pump air into the deflated tire, then returned to the Summit house – where mom Lynne, and the two photographers, still waited – at around 11 p.m. (Ghalib left soon afterward.)
TMZ is reporting Britney’s parents, along with Sam Lufti and Alli Sims, are finally having an intervention with Britney so she’ll get mental help. I hear Sam has already threatened to pee on Britney’s grave and feed her to Satan if she doesn’t listen. He’s, uh, not very good at these things.
Jan 28 2008Sam Lufti says Britney is getting treatment
Britney Spears’ pal/manager/leech Sam Lufti called into The View today and spoke to Barbara Walters. He told Barbara that Britney is in treatment and has been suffering from mood swings. Sam also revealed Britney has reconciled with her mother, according to People:
When those at the table challenged the veracity of Lutfi's report, Walters's response was, "I don't know if anybody is telling the truth or not telling the truth." But she noted, "He has been with her constantly. He seems to be enormously supportive."
All of this is pretty convenient considering Page Six ran an article today about Sam’s three restraining orders out against him. One of them is from his former best friend Danny Haines who claims Sam was “more jealous than a lover”:
When Haines eventually cut him off, Lufti humiliated him, e-mailing naked photos of him to his family, friends and co-workers. He texted and called incessantly and, according to court documents, told Haines he hoped his sister would be "raped to death." Haines says that in one e-mail to him, Lufti wrote of Haines' mother that he hoped "Satan devours her flesh and bones" and he looked forward to the day when he would "p - - - on her burial."
Then again I, too, equate enormously supportive with grave pissing. In fact, I don’t really see how you can have one without the other. Maybe it’s because I was raised by an undertaker with a heart of gold and a weak bladder. Who knows?

Jan 25 2008Britney Spears’ photo deals questioned
Sam Lufti gave his deposition yesterday to Kevin Federline’s lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan. The line of questioning involved finding out if Britney brokered deals with X17 through Sam. It’s been speculated that Sam is on the X17 payroll and Britney was receiving payouts for photos of her day-to-day life including time with the children which violates her custody agreement. Photographer Alison Silva was quoted this week saying Britney calls the paparazzi in advance, according to E! Online:
"Britney is in on it. [She] calls the paparazzi before she goes out. We know 15 minutes before she leaves the house. It's all staged," Silva said.
To drive that point home here’s a staged photo of Britney pretending to use a pay phone last night. Conveniently left out are shots of her swallowing two quarters before chewing on the Yellow Pages. Numbers make Britney hungry!
