Are you sure? I think this is the fault of movie execs that mistook all the rage for Transformers and thought that surely it was because of the hot girl and not the cool robots(which it really was). Proof positive is this bomb we're all speaking of. Nobody ever did give her any undue credit. The executives simply read the consumers incorrectly.

Are you really basing a film's appeal off of rotten tomatoes? How many films go on to be cult classics that were trashed by critics? I remember when i went to the screening of both Vanilla Sky and A.I., you had some people walk out and some people stand up and cheer, that is how these sort of obscure films work.

The last article i read said 1 out of 3 critics liked it, but it's early and whoever bases if they will watch or like a movie based on critics is not a real fan of films anyways. I can't count how many times i have disliked a film that was up for an acedemy award, so i say who gives a crap about box office sales. My top film list consists of abstract films like 11:14 and The Dead Girl which your mainstream people barely even know exist.

#97- Thin does not mean healthy. I have a friend who is naturally very thin (it's hereditary-her mom is very thin as well) and she eats absolutely terrible food. Tons of fast food and no fruits or vegetables. Nothing but fatty, unhealthy foods in high quantities. She also doesn't exercise at all (she's one of those lucky people who doesn't need to in order to maintain her weight) but that doesn't make her healthy. There's a damn good chance her cholesterol is too high or she has plaque building up in her arteries and shit. You have to eat right and exercise in order to be healthy. It's more than your body shape. After all, would you call LeBron James unhealthy? He's hardly thin.

Anyway, it isn't surprising that this movie didn't make much money. It just looked stupid, and Megan Fox isn't an actress. She's a sex symbol. In garbage like Transformers that people go to for mindless action, it doesn't matter, but in a movie like this you need a talented, charismatic star to bring people in, and Megan Fox just isn't that person.

I don't like Megan Fox and have no plans on seeing this, but box office is not the only way to judge a movie. Plenty of great movies are never huge box office successes while plenty of shitty movies (such as Transformers and Twilight) have huge box office success while being absolute garbage. People aren't necessarily intelligent when it comes to movies, unfortunately.
