So did I. You could clearly see a shadow of every one of her tattoos under the "concealer." Along with a totally different body than shown in the photo above.

Photoshop was heavily used for both the tattoo shadows and to slim her/curve her where they thought it was needed. The concealer doesn't claim to totally hide tattoos, merely to make them less noticeable.

The parts in the 'unairbrushed' one that are red are the only parts of her body that don't have tattoos on them. For the real photos, i'm sure they covered up those spots as well. Therefore, it's really not an 'unairbrushed' pic, but just a picture taken before the look was complete. Those spots just look so awk because she has tattoos everywhere, therefore concealer everywhere. I'm sure if you just had a couple small tattoos it wouldn't look as awk because you could blend it out and not need it so heavy everywhere. I think it's a good product if it works as well as the photos show.

So, I have her tattoo concealer because I bought it to cover up the small pink diamond tattoo that I have behind my right ear (per request from my mother) for my wedding. Um, the shit doesn't work THAT well. When trying to see how it'd look by trying it on a small heart I have tattooed on the inside of my right ankle, it only made it look like a blurred black blob. It did NOT make it look invisable whatsoever. Although it makes a kick ass concealer b/c it's heavier, the stuff does NOT cover tattoos at all.

I really have no opinion of the girl, I've never watched that show and I dont quite understand what the big deal is about her. I watch LA ink (Kat's show), she's promoting both the perfume and the concealer. Photoshop takes a tremendous amount of time and money, they spent I think 6-9 hours concealing her tats, so yeah a heavy amount of concealer and then some photoshop. I like her, she's so young (early to mid 20's), well young to have what she does and not have a trust fund like Hilton, or Kardiashian or be a young coked up or washed up actress/singer so I like her. She's just really good at portraits of people (a lot of people get them of loved ones who pass away or their children), she gives them a soul in the tattoos which I think is why she got famous in the first place.

Kat Von D is not fat, she could stand to gain a few pounds, it is comments like those expressed here that do influence women to abuse themselves by starving, binging and purging. Men have been brainwashed into believing that unless a woman is pencil thin she's fat which is not the case. Women biologically speaking women are meant to carry more weight then what is "acceptable" nowadays we're meant to do things like give birth, produce milk for infants which can not be done if a woman is too thin.

As for women with tattoos, I agree with the one or two other posters who pointed out that many people with tattoos have reasons why they have them that have nothing to do with being "cool" or getting attention. My Mother is getting a tattoo to commemorate losing a breast to cancer but beating the disease, I am getting one that is about my commitment to God. Does that mean either of us are seeking attention? Not likely since the placement of these two tattoos are in places that no one will see them (back of the shoulder). Kat Von D is a tattoo artist, and loves the artform (yes it IS art even if you don't see it as such, because I don't like abstract does it cease to be an artform?) so it goes to reason that she has many tattoos.

I am a henna artist and I always have some work on me, as it is what I love does that make me a terrible person? Does it make me trash? No it means I don't give a flying fuk what you people think because I know what I love and I can imagine that Kat would have much the same sentiment.

That supposedly non photoshopped picture is so clearly photoshopped. The red on her face bleeds into her hair. I'm fairly certain, even when I'm red/hot it does not bleed into my hair.

I have tried her tattoo concealer and it actually works pretty well. I have black tattoos and it covers them up pretty well and it doesn't feel too heavy.
