Aug 27 2009Jon Gosselin: 'I never said I wanted off the show'
Realizing that Jon & Kate Plus 8 is the wind behind the sails of his Homely Poon Ship, Jon Gosselin is denying that he said he wants off the show. People reports:
"I never said that," Jon told PEOPLE while speaking outside his house on Wednesday. "A fan asked me, 'Don't you sometimes wish you could go back to a 9-to-5 job?' [And my reply was,] 'Yeah, because this is 24/7 and 9-to-5ers punch in and punch out and you have no responsibilities.' "
Pointing to the paparazzi collected outside his family home, Gosselin said, "Here ... you have to watch what you say so it doesn't contradict something else."
Jon then punctuated his statement by pulling out a solid gold Bluetooth and ordering a baby albino tiger sandwich for such are the hardships of his life. Oh, to make $30 grand a year again. *sigh*

Really? This guy gets paid to be a father. "9-5ers" often have their own children, so after working their 9-5 job they go home and are parents for free. They have that 24/7 parenting job *in addition* to their 9-5. Is this guy seriously trying to drum up sympathy for his situation? He seems to find time to bang chicks in his awesome garage apartment (wonder if he plays WoW, too?) and take lavish vacations with other coattail riding dads; so I'm wondering if he understands what "24/7" means.
