I was going to pick up Ian Halperin's book, "Unmasked" -- but now I am not because I feel he has discredited a beautiful, heart-felt marriage between Lisa Marie Presley and Michael Jackson. I am not saying that Jackson did not experiment with homosexuality -- maybe he did, maybe he did not. But his first marriage was REAL -- and I believe Lisa when she says Michael was hot in bed and their marriage was a normal, sexual marriage. Michael's family have said they wondered about his sexuality, but "found out" that he was straight. Quite frankly I think Halperin may have a hidden agenda in his refusal to believe that Jackson was essentially a straight man -- yes he was shy with women -- Lisa Marie was not -- and the two found a pathway to love and intimacy. Maybe Halperin is jealous, or even gay himself.

And Jackson said that he was not gay, but that he didn't have a problem with anyone who was. Nelson took him at his word. Jackson reportedly considered his face a work of art. So many others see it as proof of homosexuality. This book is the ultimate tabloid read! Although the chapters about Jacksons court case were informative; Halperin reverts to a tabloid style of writing to end his book. Phantom male lovers and their supposed intimate escapades with the King of Pop is something only to be laughed at. Halperin contradicts his claims about Michaels supposed affairs when he says that Michael would meet these men in run down motels to keep things secretive. But then says that these silent lovers had intimate pictures of themselves and Jackson. Why would Jackson go through all of that to keep the affair secret and then take photos with his lovers that could be exposed to the world? Imaginary photos is what they are. It is well known that Michael was always careful of germs because of the Lupas; but Halperin wants people to believe that Michael would go to run down rat/roach infested motels? I also found it interesting that Halperine met Jackson only once under false pretences. It seems to me that Ian Halperin is trying to stir up controversy concerning Jackson's image. He is out to make money off of the fairy tales in his mind. I suspect these are Ian's own experiences that he's putting off on MJ. Throughout the years Michael Jackson has been constantly hounded by the media. Why, with all of the investigators that have studied him, including a ET reporter and critic, Diane Diamond have they not found such men with allegations like these before? I will tell you why, because these allegations are completely fabricated by a man who has no scruples and lacks all trace of human disancy! I find it suspicious that this book would have come out in time to cast a dark shadow over Jackson's concerts in London. Having to fight an allegation he adamantly denied years ago would have only served to cause him more grief! Halperin is a wolf in sheeps clothing and still very much anti-Jackson. He has been quoted saying negative things about Jackson up until he died. Now suddenly he wants to make it seem like he is on Michael's side. During his interview with ET Halperin showed some homosexual tendancies and body language; tendancies that Michael never demonstrated. His posture was defensive and gave off an untruthful vibe. Halperin kept adverting his eyes, he held his head kind of down or to the left. It was like he couldn't even believe what was coming out of his mouth. The ET reporter, Diane Diamond said that she had been studying and reporting on Jackson for years and that she never found such evidence!
