65 kids in the pool at once was an unsafe and loud disturbing environment. this is a private pool....meaning that you pay a fee to go there to NOT be disturbed by 65 screaming kids cramming themselves into a pool. Does not matter what color they were, it was not safe and went against the complexion and atmosphere of a members only pool.

I am tired of all you uneducated morons out there that have no grip on the English language. Complexion has many meanings and hue of one’s skin is only a miniscule definition for it. But I suppose since it fits you playing the race card you are going to run with it. For all you uneducated true racists that are always playing the race card here is the definition.

For someone who does not have the ability to use the English language correctly and pulls from a very limited pool of words used during their speech I can see where the use of the word complexion would point you toward the believe it was describing the hue of someone’s skin. But for the individuals who went to school and actually learned a thing or two we understand that when using the words “complexion” and “atmosphere” when describing a place such as a membership only pool you are describing the overall character of the place.

As I stated earlier, 65 kids running around acting a fool will definitely change the overall character of where they are at and would unquestionably change my attitude of the place.

Also, before you start trying to use a race card you should really determine if the private membership pool actually had other races as members other than whites. Oh my, guess what? They do. This was not a white only club. They have many different races that have membership at that pool.

You are absolutely correct. I just had to comment too that this wasn't about race, this was about the the private club underestimating the amount of kids that would come into the pool. I believe they had extended a free membership to the daycare centers around the area and had to retract after the influx of children.

Also to add to your comment....there were 2 other groups that were turned away as well...and they were white kids.

The private club was in no way ready to host the number of kids that were showing up that day. They underestimated the number of children.

Which brings up another point that squashes this whole racism idea. If the club was being racist then why invite the kids to start with? You don't think that they had perfect knowledge of who they were inviting to their members only club?

They were doing a good thing by inviting children that may not have the ability or chance to spend some time in a pool this summer.

The club's only fault is they overbooked the number of kids that were coming, that or the groups lied about how many kids they were bringing.

When our neighbor gave us his pool bond, all we needed to do was pay the 550.00 in annual dues. It was a tough decision, so much $, so little time based on everyone's schedule. But, we could utilize the pool Weds. and Fri. so we signed up. The end ot June , a boatload of day care kids showed up. Turns out Wed. and Fri. were the days they contracted to use the pool. I was so pissed.
Not to mention, if I wanted my kids to spend their summer days with day care kids I'd send them to day care.

Forgot to say- my pool incident happened 8 years ago. Different town.

I have never purchased on line before except books and I have to say that the experience was very easy. Except for the shipping which I could not figure out how to do cheaper it was an excellent experience.
