Well what's done is done, I did notice Kate always dressed the kids' in nce clothes. All 10 of them were always dressed very stylishly, classy and you clould tell the clothes weren't hand me downs. I disagree Terri, Jon went from Classy Kate, to Trashy who ever he decides to be seen with next. Jon said he only was there for his children, then do your kids justice by not being a specticle in public with your girlfriends, Grow up Jon and be a Real Man, you have too much time on your hands lately, do something constructive like get a job, visit the different missionaries, go to Irac!

I've watched the show from the beginning, enjoyed it. Let’s face it; for the most part we are judging this family based on what they let us see. In a marriage there always has to be one person more sensible or level headed than the other. If you have two free spirited or two people that don't plan for the future or both so spontaneous how that work, plus id neither of you planned for the future you’d probably end up broke, then divorced because all you would do is argue over money.
MY POINT>> although Kate was too hard on Jon PUBLICALLY (meaning for "us" all to see) she tried keeping the show as real as possible, and that meant being herself. Ok call that being a bitch; but someone has to keep order in a house full of kids. Someone needs to be in charge per say. You need organization, scheduling, trust me I ran a day care for many years you can get over ORGANIZAED, to detailed, too planned out. Maybe Kate wanted everything too perfect.
Jon didn't want to be in the PUBLIC eye any longer, yes he LOVED the money but (threw his own admittance) he was having a hard time with it. Also admitting; when he met Kate, he was "bumming around". In his defense everything happened quickly, fatherhood. Women mature much faster than men, so when the children came Kate was able to GROW UP.; Jon got lost in the Jon & Kate plus 8.
When he "got lonely" he should have talked to Kate about his "needs" his wondering eye. How he WANTED to go out parting INSTEAD of going out partying. Before it got out of hand.
There is ALWAYS A TURNING POINT IN EVERY RELATIONSHIP OR MARRIAGE WHEN YOU HAVE CHOICES TO DO THE {right thing per say or not} is this relationship worth working on or not. When you go out and disregard what you have with the other person and involve another person, no matter if it's asking another person if you can buy them a drink, or accepting a drink bought for you, YOU KNOW WHAT THAT LEADS TO LET’S NOT PLAY STUPID…, THAT's HOW IT STARTS...so you've made your choice.
At that point Jon kissed his 9 years good bye and the show. He was being totally selfish at that point. Was there so much wrong with his marriage he couldn't talk to Kate about. I wonder if Jon EVER REALLY STOP AND thought about the choices he was making how eventually what a divorce would bring another woman, another man being a definite role model other than HIMSELF and KATE in their children’s life. I bet he didn’t give it a second thought what a BIG INFLUENCE ANOTHER ADULT WILL HAVE ON HIS CHILDRENS LIFE ALL BECAUSE OF HIS CHOICE NOT TO TRY TO WORK ON WHAT HE THOUGHT WERE PROBLEMS IN HIS MARRIAGE.
I think he would have come out smelling like a rose if he had approached it like a man. Worked on their (so called problems) then laid low and in time if he was still UNHAPPY after a separation then announced their getting a divorce. NOPE, what does he do show up 2 hrs late for the taping of the ANNOUNCEMENT SHOW because he had to think about what he was going to say. HE DECIDES DIVORCE, Sounded like he had to check with his 22yr. old girlfriend. Then allowing her to talk to the media how in Love they are in the month of JULY and not even one month from the filing for divorce. HOW SICKNING JON. It’s obvious you want the show to end, and you don’t care about your children’s welfare or you don’t care Kate wanted the show to go on.
