Robert Pattinson hit by cab during Twi-hard attack
Robert Pattinson was clipped by a cab this morning while filming in New York City. Before the hyperventilating starts, he's fine and yes, they're still making the other two movies. RadarOnline reports:
The 23-year-old London-born actor had been inside most of the morning filming scenes for his new movie Remember Me. A team of five security guards were trying to fend off a crowd of teenaged girls when Rob was leaving the bookstore.
It was pouring rain as they tried to hustle him quickly across the busy street to the safety of his trailer. Some of the teen girls were hysterical and Rob rushed across the road. As he did so, a taxi grazed him. The cabbie slammed on his brakes as soon as he realized what had happened.
It appeared as if the cab hit Rob in the hip. He stood there for a moment looking stunned. The bodyguard next to him checked if he was okay and then screamed at the fans: "You see what you did, you almost killed him!"
At this point I'd like to be able to say nothing short of his own Secret Service detail can protect Rob Pattinson, but let's not kid ourselves. If word got out Obama had tickets to the premiere of New Moon in his pocket, he'd be dead inside a locker full of Twilight stickers within the hour. And that's assuming traffic on the Beltway.

I dont know if I believe that these pictures are from today. Its has been pouring sheets of rain today in NYC, there is no sunshine and its so cold. Those pictures dont make sense.

I have never seen teenage girls act like this - even when I was a teenager - especially in NY. Where are these kids parents? Oh.... they are right next to them - no wonder they act like out of control idiots. Luckily nothing bad happened folks! If i was Robert Pattinson i would have dramatized it a bit just after the incident.I would have dragged my leg a bit or walked limp just to stir it a bit up!

Even though the man makes me grimace, I do have a smidgen of sympathy for his unfortunate lot in life. No man, unwashed or over-publicized, should be subject to that kind of physical and emotional abuse...Few things are more heart-wrenching than seeing a swarm of obsessed, brainless, teenage worshipers pawing and vibrato-screaming a poor man to death...He has my condolences
