The thing is my hope comes from the good people that I am grateful to know and who I believe in. It's those in the public eye that bring me down, so generally I try to avoid this shit, but every once in a while I like to remind myself of what doesn't matter in this life, just so I can appreciate the people and things that do that much more.

Keating gave her over a million dollars in money he scammed off of everyday people - in some cases, people's life savings - so he bought a nifty indulgence from the Church through his donation to her. Restitution? Ha.

People don't like having to think for themselves and the public at large will never thank you for pointing out that popular idols have feet of clay, but if what those 'saints' and others are doing can't withstand scrutiny I'd rather know the truth than embrace a lie, no matter how comforting it might be - there's no benefit in intellectual dishonesty. There are good people out there and because they're truly dedicated to what they believe in, rather than gratifying their own egos, they don't tend to be fame whores so the media overlooks them.

Nobody is going to read ALL of these comments, but I think I can boil it down to save people some time: Heidi and Spencer are ignorant, selfish assholes, and Al Roker is fucking awesome.

Most of their outrage is that no one's ever spoken to these two butt nuggets like that and what most people see as candor they see as being rude and unfair.
