Wow....not many people can take a beating like that and then have the character to reflect on it and say " Some of that was true, and I'm going to take a lesson from this and try to improve myself". I think it was totally amazing that Kanye took it in stride. He didn't insult Matt Stone and Trey Parker, he was just totally humble and genuine.

4) Make all the music yourself and perform it live WITHOUT using your fame to help you along - fuck wear a mask if that's what it takes to remain anonymous.
5) See how the underground / independant (TRULY independant) music scene responds to this "new" band / group / dj whatever.

Do that and I'm sure you'll get your smug ass humbled before you can say "I told you so!"
