Apr 7 2009Eminem still alive, releases video
Eminem released his latest video "We Made You" today which includes him making fun of various celebs from Kim Kardashian to Jessica Simpson and offering to bang Sarah Palin. That said, I'd probably enjoy this more if I were an ironically racist drop-out working at Wal-Mart in Alabama. Ha ha, just kidding. It could be any Wal-Mart.
EDIT: Posted new video. Should do the trick.

@2 I was going to say that myself.
That video was unwatchable, unlistenable, crap. When an artist stages a comeback with material of this caliber, it's not looking good for them.
12. GuyHolly - April 7, 2009 1:52 PM
I thought you said Enima was in this video. All I see is Kid Rock.
13. J.D. - April 7, 2009 1:53 PM
Wow, he calls to Lohan to come back to men and I see two posts down they're separated, she don't waste no time! If two wrongs don't make a right, what would these two make?

17. Sam - April 7, 2009 2:02 PM
Dude, this video rocked. It was even more bizarre than his last ones, which is how you gotta do it in this bizness. I laughed, I cried, I thought the lyrics could be better, but the Star Trek scenes (apropos of what?) made it all worth it. Haters go home.
18. Aaron - April 7, 2009 2:06 PM
What a horrid song... video is ok, typical Eminem. But, whew... that song it crap.
19. Adam - April 7, 2009 2:08 PM
DID YOU MISS ME?
Fuck no. I wish he would've stopped after his first album. The only decent thing he'll ever and will do.
20. Just Jess - April 7, 2009 2:09 PM
My God - that was awesome.
Yo - I don't care if Eminem comes out with 100 albums about the same thing - there is always a place for Eminem's lunacy in pop culture...he's actually been gone too long...
That kat will never get old
Yo go on a be a rockstar, M.

HOW LONG DID YOU WATCH until you had to stop, well if you guys saw the whole thing then ok, but i had to stop at 45 seconds, i just couldnt keep watching, besides turning into WEIRD AL he is using the same old last year jokes that we have seen even in horrible movies like disaster movie, i mean besides being completely irrelevant he is like recycling old dumb jokes for this video, What the hell???
i used to like him at the beginning but now he is just as WASHED UP AS THE STUFF HE HIMSELF MAKES FUN OF!!!!

Funny how he went from being a dark-and-serious rapper to a worse-than-Weird-Al parody producer. I wonder if he's aware that he's just as toolish as Bret Michaels...

29. soahc - April 7, 2009 2:25 PM
This is kinda' sad. He has made no effort to adapt, play different roles in his songs, all the same shit. He was such a promising antidote to monotony and formula, not that is looking like a pipe dream.

@ Guy....I like anything with Eminem. He can do parody, he can be serious. At least he's doing the same thing we're ALL doing....and that's making fun of lame celebrities. Did you catch that when he was driving the semi that Lohan and Ronson were making out in the front seat?

45. CBALL11 - April 7, 2009 2:56 PM
That video was pretty damned hilarious, but his song and lyrics are pretty shitty compared to his past work.
46. Name required indeed! - April 7, 2009 3:00 PM
Looks like Em is using the same steroid connection Dre's been using.
Was this one directed by the Scary/Epic/Date/Disaster Movie guys? At least he hit upon the Star Trek movie before it's release....everything else has already been mocked ad nauseum by late night TV hosts. No relevancy whatsoever.
47. mike - April 7, 2009 3:05 PM

His shit is getting old. We have seen it all before back in the 80's. He use to call himself Weird Al Yankovich. M & M's act is so old it is sad to watch him try to keep it up. He should just put on a dress and lipstick and be Dre's bitch full time.

but I'm going to note that the "Sarah Palin" in that video was featured in the classic Hustler film "Naylin' Palin", so I respect that.

i fucking love eminem so fuck all you haters!!!!!!
67. Dude - April 7, 2009 4:37 PM
Eminem is great. The song isn't his best, but I love how makes fun of everything wrong with society. He has a similar style to South Park. Most people hate eminem/South Park, but if you actually listened to an album/watched an entire show there are usually some pretty good messages in there.
By the way, this is his Slim Shady character which is why his lyrics are silly/weird and not dark like some posters mentioned above.
68. jason Y - April 7, 2009 4:55 PM
well i am STRAIGHT and i write that all caps so that people will see it but no i am not gay, i actually always go to watch the Iwatchstuff blog and the Geekologie but i come here also, and

Boy! when artists are not struggling they sure put out junk for the masses..
70. missywissy - April 7, 2009 5:41 PM
My first thought was "yea! he's back!" Then when he said "did you miss me?" I was kind of like, hmm. He acknowledged his lack of presence in his own song. Then there he was, Dr. Dre. Eminem can't do a thing without him.? I don't think this is a song I would sit and listen or stand and listen or dance and listen. The video was alright, I didn't care for the Elvis impersonation, that was just weird. I kind of agree with the weird Al comments. I'm sure the next song will be about disrespecting women. Seems Em is all about that, trashing celebs or crying about his childhood. Dude needs to grow up.
71. fee - April 7, 2009 5:45 PM
ACTUALLY....Weird Al has WAY more talent. He's been around for 20 years and really, if you get past the goofy, he's really quite talented and very smart.

76. EpicLawz - April 7, 2009 6:39 PM
Eminem has become more and more like a shitty Weird AL. His voice just rakes on my ears. Michael Jackson and Eminem share something very similar. They both squeak like women and both believe they are of the other race.

Meh....He should've released something else as his "come-back" song. I agree with lots of people thats posted on both sides of the fence. Yes...he has/had a very original sound back in the day...very original. Now...psh...he sounds like its 2002 again. The parody stuff is funny but he's almost outplayed it. I mean how many songs does he have like this? A fuck ton. If I were him I would've came out with something else....but to each his own.

A note to all Eminem haters:
Say what you will - but he's making cash by doing the very same thing we all do on this and other blogs every day for free.
He gets a shitload of dough being witty making fun of celebrities - if some of you could use your talents - y'all could give M some competition...
Rock on...

Eminem is so weak - he is a less creative form of Weird Al, and he still can't fuckin play an accordian. What a lame video, and what's with the minute of saying "get down' - what a total loser. Thank goodness his career is over. And I don't know why he is making fun of Jessica Simpson being fat, something tells me his little pill addiction had plumped him up some short months ago. I seriously think this song has the weakest beats too - aren't rappers at least supposed to have a nice baseline? This song fuckinggggggggg sucks

Please don't insult Weird Al. I doubt MM will have the same popularity as Poison has 23 years later (which isn't exactly mind-blowing).
Someone was playing MM the other day, and I wondered if he had the grace to go out on a high note. Apparently not. Dead horse gets some more beating.
This isn't even likable. Maybe he should try country, let Jess try rap.

So - don't know if anyone has noticed (obviously not) but Em ALWAYS comes out with a silly song or two for the radio. I'm sure this was just something he had to pump out to satisfy the Top 40 lists. "Are you not entertained?" I was. If you hate him so much, why bother watching his video in the first place?? The video was funny, the song was alright but I'm willing to bet that the new album has some deeper heartfelt songs that are amazing.

You dumbfucks Dont get it, he is talking about how society makes the characters that the celebrities become. the song is just going over these retards heads and the stuff he is rapping about is all true and its insight on the shit that we as the listeners take for granted on the influence that we have on our favorite celebrities. celebs r made by society/fans. all the attention gets to there heads n most do fucked up shit. its sad society is obsessed with how fucked up their lives are...
n its sad that people try to take these spoof/comical songs serious like OH NO IT DOESNT GO HARD YO! since were used to him goin harder then everyone else he has the highest expectations.

122. lameo - April 8, 2009 6:33 PM
He's like a younger, less funny Weird Al. Weird Al is almost 50 and still makes pop culture references as if he were in the generation the culture was made to entertain. Eminem sounds like he was told a brief summary of what happened in pop culture between 2006-2009 (telling Britney to drop K. Fed? Really?) and wrote a song about it.

Dear Superficial Writer,
I'm not saying I'm an Eminem fan, but how exactly is his making fun of celebrities any different than what you do every day? Additionally, your comment about Eminem's fan's (and thereby, Eminem) being racist was very funny, because I'm not so sure Eminem is racist. Is Eminem a misogynist? YES. Is he homophobic? YES. But is he racist? I don't think so.
Signed,
A Confused Reader

I can't believe that worthless unfunny white trash wigger is still making music. Fortunately, the braindead make up a good portion of record sales judging by the success of Flo Rida and T-Pain and pretty much everyone popular now.

Did anyone else notice the the Britney Spears look alike was a dude? He was on America's Got Talent this past summer as a Britney Spears impersonator. lol I have to admit that's kind of cool that he used him in the video. He does have a pretty slamming body for a guy dressed as a woman. hehe

It doesn't even sound like him. Something is "off" with his "rapping" - like it's more of a singing high pitched mess..

I'm not really sure what to think to be honest. I thought the video was entertaining, but the song itself is meh. He has a lot of talent, but whether he decides to use it or fuck around is something entirely up to him. Seems now that he's not angry about stuff anymore, he's just dicking around.
I'll have to wait to hear the rest of his album.

i've had enough of reading those eminem fanboys typical "comebacks" like "he's making money and you're not"...blah, blah, blah...first of all,i don't care about money as much as you. No, i'm not a filthy rich basket case but in terms of music wise, eminem(now) is worse than soulja-boy..okay, i take it back..no one is as bad as soulja boy..except for people with epilepsy.
i was a big fan really. However, unlike him i found new humorous material elsewhere like emo music. ha.
the only saving grace of this video perhaps is bobby lee. owh and the fact that this video reminds of previous songs so much, it just makes it like em is lazy. However, some of you fanboys are right, he will release a "sad" song or a "Serious" song but it would be either about his mother, his ex, his ex's ex or his blah blah blah...his daughters...lol..the person who mention his name or someone who diss him. However, considering the rise of crappy music on TV this days, em have improved..lol...
i prefered his "the real slim shady" video than this...but to be fair, the best part of the video was when it ended...
