Racism is retarded. There is not one thing out there that a White Racist can say a black person does, that can't be said about a thousand white people. We shouldn't be saying a black musician hit his black musician girlfriend. We should be saying its horrible that any man hits any woman. I don't blame anyone under the age of say 25 for their racists beliefs. I would put it back on the parents. They came from a generation where racism was rampant. They still carry a lot of hostility, whether they be white, black, hispanic, or anything else. Even if they don't say the words, their children can still pick up on it and carry it on. Our society has become so scared of confrontation, we've taken to nameless blogs or comments on websites to vent our true emotions. Everyone is afraid to say hello to anyone else, for fear of persecution or being called out.

If you are truly disgusted with the way things are here, be you white or black, just go somewhere like Iraq or Iran. Where you'd be shot for just looking at someone the wrong way. Now our country still has a lot of problems. A lot of them may never be solved. But if we could just stop putting up walls and judging people by how the color of their skin or how they dress or talk, I think it would be a huge step forward.

Now, if blacks had remained slaves then how would antibiotics and hundreds of other inventions have come about. Both women and men can commit battery. The laws are not written just to address men offensively touching women but also women offensively touching men. I continue to reserve my opinion until all of the investigation is completed and at least good effort has been made to bring all the facts out. However, if it is determined that Rihanna initiated the battering for whatever reason it is my opinion that she should be punished too. If the American legal system allows women to batter men and expect no punishment then abuse of men will occur. I prefer to take logical approach to this matter remove the names and sexes and figure out who was the starting aggressive party. That is where to start when analyzing this unfortunate incident. I think it is important to be fair and hear both parties out in this case. Finally it has not been proven beyond a reasonable doubt that Chris Brown caused any or all Rihanna’s bruises. The bottom-line is anyone in America is presumed innocent until proven guilty. No verdict has been rendered. Further defenses can be asserted. Also it is very wise for Chris Brown to remain silent until he goes to court. It is not the media's nor the public's judgment that will determine whether he will remain a free man; it is the court's and thank goodness!

Well this story sounds very fishy to me. My thing is I’m Rihannas age. And I know how we young girls can get over another women texting or calling our man. But you know what you can either get over it or drive the man to a point by putting your hands on him. Because when we get made as young black women we hit, yell and act like we are untouchable. And most of the times if you hit someone or go off on someone they return the same angry. And these two are young. And from young individual to another we all have done something to this extent in our life. So just because he is famous doesn't make him a bad person. If that’s the case we all should be doing time. Judge not or be judge! Not taking anyone side but there’s always two sides to a story and the judge, her dad, his step dad, the media, or anyone else wasn’t present when this went down. So no one knows the truth but them. So it’s up to them to tell their story not the media or anyone else.
