Actually, @101, my point is perfectly logical. Stories like this are practically countless. Any local newspaper, or national newspaper for that manner, has some sort of section for crimes and all are varying degrees of atrocity.
Crime happens every day, that is well known and well understood, but yet some how for some reason something "horrible" happens to one in the public eye and all of the sudden it tugs at the heart strings. People can just as easily feel sympathy for someone they read in the paper the nite before, no real opinion needed inorder to sympathize for another. Just because someone is in the media at an incessant rate hardly means that one "knows" them anymore than you know the kooky neighbor down the street. I live in the Chicago and I was just in the area where that happened a couple days ago. It's on the south side where A LOT of crime takes place. This kind of thing happens all the time there and it's very sad. I have equal hope for Hudson to find her family as I do for anyone that has to recover from such tragedies. I personally think this could have been prevented, though. If I had achieved the fame and income that Hudson has, my first priority would be to get my family a new home with more security. They must have had a really bad relationship which makes the whole case even more depressing.
