Amy Poehler gave birth to son Archie Arnett last night. This is the first child for Amy and husband Will Arnett who totally need to have another one and name it Jughead. What? It's unisex. People reports:
Archie Arnett was born on Saturday and weighed in at 8 lbs., 1 oz., their rep Lewis Kay said in a statement.
"Amy, Will and Archie are all healthy and resting comfortably," Kay said.
During the "Weekend Update" segment of Saturday Night Live, Poehler's co-anchor Seth Meyers announced to a cheering crowd: "Amy Poehler is not here tonight because she is having a baby."
Of course, the SNL crowd only cheered to cover the sound of their own escape after basically being told nobody funny was going to be on the show. Whoops. Anyway, congratulations and props to Amy and Will for going with the name "Archie." It's different without being fucking retarded like "Apple" or "Spencer Pratt." That said, I'm still naming my kid "Han Solo Batman." It will be a special gift from father to son - before I move to Hong Kong, and his mother tells him I'm a secret agent. Ha ha, can't believe she fell for that. Secret agents don't live with their parents! I mean, they do. Ladies.
