I feel really bad for the one's lost. Little Chris was the shit! He's was such a nice guy. I met him at a +44 show. He was handing out Famous Stars & Straps stickers to everyone in line and complimented me on a shirt that I was wearing. Never met "Che", but from what I've read about him, he seemed like an awesome guy and a very good friend to Travis.

I don't get it, how the heck were they able to "dive out" of the plane before it even crashed? Dive out of a moving plane onto a highway onto asphalt with moving cars on the road & having your body engulfed in flames ...and survive??? And why were they on fire if the plane hadn't crashed yet? We don't yet know why the others weren't able to jump out, based on where they were sitting and the flames who knows. Adam and Travis were ON FIRE it's hard to think straight when your flesh is burning, they aren't trained and you'd be surprised to know how RARELY civilians with no training are able to help in these types of situations. Looking at the plane images I suspect the cockpit was engulfed in flames immediately and the two perished quickly which is very tragic. It is possible that the flames that burned Adam and Travis killed the other two passengers, again depending on where they were sitting we don't know how badly and quickly they were burned which again is horrific and so sad. They DID try to go back and help, Owens longer report states this in more detail, but there was fuel everywhere and the plane was so engulfed they could not get near it. It was midnight and obviously dark, smokey and FLAME filled inside the plane so I'm really not sure what thy could have done and believe me they are replaying every moment of this wishing they could have saved everyone.

Now these two have to live through the excruciating pain of severe burns, go through a long and extensive physical and emotional recovery while mourning the loss of two very close friends (this again has been stated in articles) and deal with the immense guilt, freakish shock and emotional turmoil of being the only two survivors. I wouldn't wish that on anyone. On top of all they have been through they do NOT need to be blamed in this tragic accident.

Just for those who might care

Chris Baker 29 the personal assistant and close friend (described as a bother to Travis Barker)who died had just gotten married and had a two week old baby and was beside himself with joy at being a father. The co pilot James Bland 52 was extremely experienced and meticulous having flown in government operations. He leaves behind a wife and 16 year old daughter. No information has been released about the pilot Sarah Lemmon 31 who I'm sure is beloved and being deeply mourned by many. Charles still was only 25 he was an occasional security guard and friend of Adam and Travis and was described as a gentle giant who adored his mother, men and women of all ages gathered outside his families home crying openly at the loss of their young friend/ family member.

So be grateful for whoever and whatever you have in your life and enjoy every moment of it.

The coroner has just released the cause of death for the four victims of Friday night's plane crash in Columbia, SC, and it's horrifying.

The Lexington County Coroner says Chris Baker, Travis Barker's assistant, died of blunt force trauma to the head and neck, and Charles Still, Barker's bodyguard, died of an acute subdural hematoma caused by blunt force trauma to the head.

The two other victims, the pilot and co-pilot, died of smoke and fume inhalation and thermal injuries.

Covering yourself in tattoos before you're 20 is pretty whatever, but having 30% of them burned off, jumping out of a crashing airplane, is pretty bad ass.
