Jun 25 2008Tim McGraw personally ejects jackass from concert
Alright, first off, I'm not a fan of country music. I'd rather swallow live bees than listen to it, but I am willing to give badass credit where badass credit is due. In this case, Tim McGraw held a concert last night in Washington and saw some large bastard hit a woman. He called for security then took matters into his own Eastwood-esque hands. Tim's rep issued the following statement:
"While Tim was performing at the White River Amphitheater in Auburn, Washington last night, he watched a man rush to the front of the stage. This overly aggressive fan attacked a female fan and Tim witnessed this incident. Tim called for security, but when they could not respond quick enough Tim and several crew members removed the fan from the audience where he was then turned over to the local authorities."
The video is awesome. Tim McGraw basically grabs a hold of this guy, who looks fucking sizable and seems to have no problem wanting to cold cock Tim. Security shows up and Tim hoists the dude up by his belt buckle and literally shoves him across stage. Tim McGraw, you win this week's THE SUPERFICIAL'S TESTICULOS DE AWESOME AWARD. I was going to give it to myself for drinking ten beers in my underwear last night, but there's always next week. The trophy's in the mail, sir. (Note: I should mention it's also invisible, hence the awesome.)

Whatever, enjoy blowing cowboys

Nobody hits a woman at a country concert before the guy on stage gets to smack some around himself!

I was Country before Country was cool. Country music chicks are WAY hotter than any outher music chicks. At least Shania Twain wears underwear in public and doesn't feel the need to sleep with every emo faggot in LA.
10. Isobella - June 25, 2008 3:36 PM
LMFAO.
Tim McGraw is fucking boss. The only thing that would have made that funnier is if he lifted him on to the stage, just to punch him in the nose and push him back off.
11. Women Treat Me Like Shit - June 25, 2008 3:36 PM
Remember, there's two sides to every story. You don't know if she struck first or, as women will do, engaged in a months-long campaign to personally and emotionally destroy him which he patiently endured to the breaking point.
Just sayin', when one person strikes another, it ain't for "no reason" as the asshat bystanders would have us believe.

you how sometimes you just wanna start over with a clean slate? we can do that in this country, and we can accomplish this by: NUKING THE SOUTH*. what the fuck would be missed? i demand to know one thing.

37. Dave from Washington State - June 25, 2008 4:11 PM
O YEAH! O YEAH! O YEAH!
Check it out y'all! Washington rednecks are bigger, dumber, ruder, more inbred than anything goin' on south of the mason-dixon, and that includes YOU! Indiana & Wyoming!!! Lewis Country, Washington, #1 in the nation for incest! IN YOUR FACE West Virginia! Our meth labs & all-you-can-eat BBQ hog-slop diners are the GREATEST IN THIS GREAT NATION!
O YEAH! THAT'S RIGHT! CHECK IT OUT Y'ALL!
38. whatever - June 25, 2008 4:14 PM
I agree with the staged comment. If the guy was beating up on some chick, I don't think he would have passed up taking a swing at Tim McGraw. Fucking rednecks.
39. crabby old guy - June 25, 2008 4:19 PM
Red Necks, White Socks and Blue Ribbon Beer!
I prefer Keith Richard's approach: swing your fucking guitar at their heads and calling out the Hells Angels at Altamont. Now THAT was "bad ass".

That's nothing. Today we saw a man hitting his wife and we cut her head off.

47. tight lipped smiler - June 25, 2008 4:39 PM
Amazing how the "incident" was timed exactly to the lyrics. And I've haven't seen a longer wind-up since I watched Saturday morning cartoons back in the Bronze Age. Plus my ass pimples are bigger than McGraw's biceps.
48. NYC - June 25, 2008 4:41 PM
If I had to chose to "nuke" the north or the south, it would definitely be the liberal homos in the north.
South -- better manners, better weather, better food, better looking women.
North -- guidos, trashy women, disrespectful people
Um, not a close decision.
49. Dave from Washington State - June 25, 2008 4:43 PM
@45: Wow, lipper, looks like I touched a nerve. That's what's so great about guys who are into country music-- they're all so sensitive. You have to keep smiling nice at 'em or they'll grab their shotguns & attack you for hurting their feelings.
50. Anonymous - June 25, 2008 4:48 PM
To commenter 36: that was an incredibly ignorant comment considering that this concert took place in Washington State. WA is NOT in the south (just in case you aren't too familiar with our geography).
And there are plenty of wonderful things about the south. Some of the best original American cuisine comes out of Louisiana, especially New Orleans. Ever heard of Blues? Originates in the Mississippi River Delta region. Like it when our country produces its own oil? Good thing that Texas and Louisiana both drill offshore in the Gulf of Mexico. Do you eat rice, or use sugar in anything you eat? Do you use Tabasco sauce to season your food? These are all produced in the deep south. Houston and Atlanta are two of the fastest growing cities in the country right now. So culturally, economically, and agriculturally, the south is a major part of American culture and life.
Your comment is insulting and ignorant. Have you ever actually been to the south?
51. eastcoastgirl - June 25, 2008 5:02 PM
Well saiid #50. And to # 36. Bitch, keep your fat ass out of Florida. I live there and we don't want you here.
52. Buzzy - June 25, 2008 5:04 PM
This 'event' was staged. 1. He cues his band. 2. Timmers signals the guy.3. The guy is wearing all white.(So the audience can see)4. They drag him onstage? Gimme a break! Timmers is all like' let me at him, WWE style'..lol..behind 5 security guards..5. Security drags him acrossss the entireee stage...rather than the shortest route possible..makimg sure the audience can see. 6. 'Amature' cameras catch the action at perfect angle..lol
Iam sure Timmers had a huge laugh with the guy afterward..
Enjoy the bread crumbs ,pigeons.
53. iMaryJane - June 25, 2008 5:09 PM
ROFL! i hate country music but that was pretty bad ass.
54. The Clap - June 25, 2008 5:13 PM
No to mention the audio sounded perfect. Have yet to see even a small point and shoot with video, much less a cell phone, capture concert audio that well.
55. silverdollar - June 25, 2008 5:27 PM
#36, you asshole, this video was in Washington. The south isn't the only place with rednecks.
Please, before you try to insult something, attempt to make it sensible.
56. Some old nobodaddy - June 25, 2008 5:37 PM
@52:
I agree in that it might be staged. These things often are. But your supporting points are easily refuted.
1) TM did _not_ cue the band, he tells them to keep playing. They saw him stop, and since he's the band leader, it's up to him to tell them to stop or continue, which they did.
2) You can clearly see TM witness the 'incident,' and then react. I didn't see any signaling.
3) Bringing up the guy's wife beater is like pointing out some guy's halitosis at a renaissance fair. Stop the presses!
4) In many stages, it's easiest to just drag the offening guy onstage. Ideally, there should be an understage on the other other side of the audience barrier. But as the post claims, it was TM's roadies who did this, not the security. They'll do what's easiest for them: move 'em offstage.
5) Same argument as #4.
6) Good point. This is what makes it so suspicious.
ALSO: Where _was_ the security??? They were nowhere, which makes it suspicious.
The only answer is a very prejudiced one, so flame on folks: This was on an Indian reservation, part of the Muckeleshoot Casino. I can certainly believe their security was standing around, not doing anything & thinking they're doing a bang-up job.

#36 is an idiot.
Also, it is SO true... all states have their own "rednecks" and country people, etc etc.
60. Me - June 25, 2008 5:46 PM
Sweet baby Jeezus, the South sucks! I've been forced to live here for five years, so I know! That being said, I can also say with authority that Illinois is a cesspool, too. Hell, the whole country's going to shit. The few smart, decent people that are left are mostly in hiding, away from the retarded, fat, Wal-Mart shopping slobs that are ruining America.
61. oh yeah and - June 25, 2008 5:47 PM
It might be staged considering the context of the song and whatnot... but I don't see him reaching out like someone said. And if he did, well, it would make sense if a singer on a large stage is drawing attention to you, then you to put your hand up as to say "who me?!" Just saying.
62. black dude - June 25, 2008 5:47 PM
Yes, let's all defend the South. Fly your Confederate flags proudly.
63. whatever - June 25, 2008 5:49 PM
This really wasn't that impressive. Expected more from the write up and it's not like he wasn't aware that he's going to be backed up immediately by security and his roadies. That said, it's nice he cares enough to deal with asshole fans.
64. jassabelle - June 25, 2008 5:56 PM
I am from nearby Bremerton, Washington where men beat women on the regular. If only there was a Tim McGraw to save me every time that I got my ass kicked by a husband, boyfriend, son.... this world would be a much better place.
Tim did the right thing. And us honkeys in the sticks in washington show nothing but gratitude.
LOVE.
65. Buzzy - June 25, 2008 6:07 PM
@56:
Believe what you want. He was 'signaling' in my opinion. He let his band know that what they planned was going to happen. He let the guy know what was going ot happen. I never mentioned wife beater. I mention he was dressed so he was very visible... The fact that his roadies moved him across the entirrrrrre stage...with cameras rolling.. rather than the shortest route possible, just confirms my suspicions of Timmers. It quite a coencidence these 'events' always happen at his concerts with cameras rolling.. Hey, if it's part of the country show experience that he pretends to be a badass, I am ok with it. But I dont beleive it was real...
66. silverdollar - June 25, 2008 6:22 PM
#60......yea, because Wal Mart is only for the fat 'slobs'....no one else shops there.....idiot.
67. lisa - June 25, 2008 6:30 PM
Obviously none of you people are a woman who has been to a concert and stood at the front. Big, aggressive, stupid men often think its their god given right to force their way to the front by pushing, shoving, punching etc and they don't care who gets in their way. I'm small and I've been hit, shoved and dragged by my hair at concerts and rock festivals by strangers and its not fun.
68. ungu - June 25, 2008 7:28 PM
The write up made it sound a look cooler than the video ended up being. It was pretty lame.
69. mamadough - June 25, 2008 7:30 PM
lol, i don't give a flying fuck where the concert was, but it was the largest congregation of imbred, stupid, pig-shit, corn-holin' assholes at the time. yes, every state has pieces of shit residing in it, but the south notably wins that competition. i didn't realize so many southerns could 1) read, and 2) figure out that nifty compooter box with the bright, flashy changing pictures, and find their way to the superfish.
i was trying to be nice to the florida, the useless, old people/whore land, hurricane-loving, dick on the nation; but whatever, fuck ya. natural disasters will in the long run knock you out eventually.
when did the superfish become home to such fucking huggers? where did all the fun assholes go? that's the point of this site people!
70. amber - June 25, 2008 8:06 PM
I too wondered if it was staged. yes, Tim did seem to lift the guy on stage awfully easily. But he also keeps in top shape if anything for appearances. Unlike the beer guzzling fat ass.
No woman beater thinks its ok to beat a woman, they don't do it in public usually unless they are sloppy ass drunk. That would make the guy easier to throw around. Maybe he was so drunk he just thought wow, Tim is holding my hand, in shock. Maybe like most woman beaters he is a fagot. Really why would he need to get to the front of the stage anyways, did he need a whiff of hunking Tim? We will never know until someone on the inside gets pissed and tells. I can't believe I have spent this much time on this, my IQ just went down another 20 points I can't afford. .
71. Asmodeus - June 25, 2008 8:10 PM
Apparently Tim doesn't like women getting beat by a fat redneck. Who knew?
Also, out of curiosity, why is it that everytime the South gets brought in conversation, every ignorant cross-eyed opinionated bastard in existence tries to make a joke about people in the South being stupid? Guys, I've lived in the North and the South: It isn't any worse here than anywhere else. The accents can give a bad vibe sometimes, but I've met more intelligent people in the state of Tennessee than in the States of New Jersey and Pennsylvania combined.
I'm aware this is a humor site, but I get sick of getting my home trashed by half-retarded suburbanites who wage war across the internet. Christ, grow up.

I don't listen to Tim McGraw's music nor do I like it but this did not look staged.
1. he did not cue his band to do anything but start playing the next song which is um...what the entertainer does in concerts. The band doesn't play until the "artist" is ready.
2. Tim McGraw doesn't signal the guy. He looked down, as entertainers tend to do at concerts, and saw that the guy did whatever it was he did (he was probably shoving the woman or hit her), did a double take and then got pissed.
3. Dude is wearing a white wife beater and light colored jeans like most fat-ass beer guzzling people who listen to country music.
4.& 5. They dragged him on stage because he was right at the stage and it was the easiest and fastest way to get him out of the concert venue. Would you rather have dragged him through the crowd of fans or through a few people and cable on stage? The other side of the stage might have been impeded by who knows what (other instruments, set pieces whatnot).
6. It is clearly an amateur camera, not cameras as the camera doesn't cut away and people caught Beyonce's flying flip-over "perfectly" as well.
Sorry to seem like a total loser with waaay too much time on my hands (I really am seriously bored right now) but I hate it when people make obviously refutable "evidence" seem like the truth.
73. Cokeasian - June 25, 2008 9:41 PM
To #11 - who has clearly already advertised his own problems through his screen name. He said:

How about that third option? That he's a violent bully. Notice how he also took a swipe at Tim McGraw. Did Tim McGraw also "engage in a months-long campaign to personally and emotionally destroy him" ? Duh. Way to look for excuses for your own abusive behaviour.

Rednecks aren't found exclusively in the south. Almost every fucking celeb posted on here is a redneck. Let's check the criteria: typically imbecilic and shallow? Check. Often drunk with children around? Check (right, Ritchie Sambora? What a douche) Public indecency? Check (right, Rod Stewart? However, with those tits, I don't blame you.) Eating cheeseburgers off the floor? Check (right, David Hasselhoff?) Seemingly, it would appear having money in the bank exempts you from the redneck distinction and instead makes you... my hero.
79. concert Security - June 26, 2008 12:29 AM
I would like to say that those that are saying bad things about what happened I just think that you have no concept what happens in certain situations. I've been doing concert security for the tune of six years and there are a few bunches of people that do not know how to hold there liquor and get rowdy and ignorant and start things even with people that are not apart of it and I put my life on the line to keep people safe. That guy may jumped up on stage because he thought he could have his 15 mins of fame if you notice once he got up on stage and they were trying to escort him off he put up a fight. I would also like to know what does country music "sucking" having to do with anything this happens at most concerts but most of the time it's dealt with and never on film not to min-chin that video is not aloud in concerts.
80. j - June 26, 2008 12:59 AM
This aint right, first of all you have to belive that a man is so exited about whoever this CW ass clown is that he would rush the stage or not be able to controll himself. Seems staged to me to fuel the image/brand of CW. To everyone who believes he is a bad ass you may have just swallowed a big load.
81. Yackem - June 26, 2008 1:23 AM
So many ignorant people on one site, incredible.
"The South is full of rednecks, LOLOLOLOL, incest, LOLOLOLOL, I'm fucking brilliant, LOLOLOLOL!"
If someone stereotyped all Yankees as rude, stuck-up, elitists, all the fops would start bleeding from their collective vagina, but they will take potshots at the South all day long to make themselves feel superior. Real intelligent.
82. Manamana - June 26, 2008 1:50 AM

83. Packinwood - June 26, 2008 2:42 AM

84. M - June 26, 2008 6:27 AM
I said it in #3 and I'll say it again, the guy reached his hand out to be pulled out. If that's not staged I don't know what is.
I don't care if he's a redneck or from the south, they're all morons who think they're cowboys at that concert.

86. Wanderer - June 26, 2008 9:26 AM
The whole altercation was clearly staged; what you have watched is merely showmanship. I'm not surprised the rednecks in the audience didn't see through the bullshit.
87. jesus - June 26, 2008 9:38 AM
since when do you start pulling trouble makers up on stage? what staged bullshit. my dad is going to flood you assholes for 20 days and nights.
88. Irmccall9 - June 26, 2008 11:09 AM
I doubt seriously Tim pulled this guy rifgt on to the stage. It's obvious he was helped up with his own stomach Tim you are one big pussy.
89. FCS - June 26, 2008 11:33 AM
Staged not staged, whatever, who cares. Bu nice detective work there all you Sherlocks, you all get a gold star.
All I know is you shouldn't mess with fat people in cowboy hats. Fat people in cowboy hats ruin lives.
90. Corlyss - June 26, 2008 12:03 PM
Fuck yes. I love when musicians know when to step in and play some crowd control. I just got new respect for country music. Thanks, Tim!
91. joss - June 26, 2008 12:30 PM
37 and 76 were the only two funny comments out of 91. Sad people.
92. blp - June 26, 2008 1:15 PM
Lame. Akon would have tossed him off the stage!
93. anne - June 26, 2008 2:03 PM
Who actually sees the "incident"? It's not clear on the video. I see him point and react but its so grainy and poorly recorded I cant see where anything happened.
Rednecks kick ass. I'll take a cowboy mud slinging bad boy over a wall street pencil nosed prick anyday.
94. LSU *LADY* - June 26, 2008 2:46 PM
First of all, I'd like to point out that the poster who proclaimed that the south is full of ignorant people is far more ignorant than any trash that hangs outside the Wal-Mart in Weetumpka, Alabama. By grouping an entire set of people together and proclaiming that they add nothing to this country shows far more ignorance that an illiterate redneck.
Secondly, what does the North have to offer that is so vastly wonderful? I've been all around this country and I can tell you that I will never leave the South. Is it because I am stupid and love trashy people? Uhh, no. Its because the south as a whole has more vibrant culture, better food, nicer people, and way more passion about everything than anything the North could possibly offer.
So thank you for your insightful comment. You have reminded me of why I love the south, Louisiana, and the "idiots" that reign from here.

The kicked out Billy Bob hahahahahahaha!
98. Roxy - June 26, 2008 8:37 PM
To 94: I have nothing against the South (being a northerner), but by coming on here blasting the north (are we really doing this?) you've lumped yourself into the same group as the people who blasted the south. Very petty.
As for this instance -- who knows if it was staged? Tim McGraw reaches his hand out to you, you take it (right?). Either way, if it was real, look for the lawsuit soon.
99. Skeptic-All - June 26, 2008 8:39 PM
After reading through most of the comments on this page I am utterly convinced their are some really, really stupid people in this country. It is no small wonder it's going to hell in a hand basket! How many of you morons are Obama supporters? Surely those with the more inane responses can be tossed into that hat!!
100. Ilikesex - June 26, 2008 8:40 PM

102. Chupacabra - June 27, 2008 10:00 AM
That was the only time I'll ever see Tim perform, and damn, it wasn't that bad. Even on mute!
103. jared - June 27, 2008 1:05 PM
ok you guys are all idiots...tim mcgraw is a redneck. The guy that gets pulled on stage is a redneck...so really what we have here is 2 stupid rednecks. One is fat and stinks, the other one can sing. However, i still side with the fat one...So that makes Tim McGraw some kind of redneck douchebag jock type guy, that really probably has beaten every woman he's been involved with, but just wanted to look like a hero while disrespecting one of his own fans.....Tim Mcgraw = Redneck Idiot.. go ride a horse..and all of you other rednecks..go fuck yourselves....Rock on bitches

TIM MCGRAW IS NOT COUNTRY MUSIC!
Real Country music is AWESOME- Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash, Marty Robbins, The Mavericks, Suzy Bogguss, etc. REAL TALENT. And amazing songs and amazing voices
Tim McGraw is not talented and this song is idiotic. I love Country Music and people have to realize this is the bad stuff. The good stuff is there, you just have to find it. Country is a BIG GENRE!
107. Jenny - June 27, 2008 8:02 PM
