1. George Bush is the worst president since Jimmy Carter - I was around when that idiot was elected too. He was more about human rights than anything else. Meanwhile, in his own country, food sky rocketed (and never went back down...even though peanuts stayed relatively cheap) - same with cars - (they jumped $6k in 4 yrs.) same with gasoline - same with housing - same with energy costs ... He established a national energy policy and removed price controls from domestic petroleum production. So how's that workin today Jimmy? Good Job Dude !! Quite the legacy you left for yourself. 2. The only reason Bush got reelected (that I could decipher) was because he had just started a war and nobody else REALLY wanted to try to follow in his footsteps. It was all about - "You Go Cowboy .... Hit em back !! " (I guess ...)
3. Obama says he has so many freaking new ideas. Quite frankly, he scares the shit out of me. I fail, myself, to see how he is going to implement all of his "changes." If the man can change the way they do business up there in the Whitehouse, more power to him. I just don't think it's possible. Our governmental hierarchy is to far caught up in what they've created to let one man bring it all down around them.
4. John McCain just plain {{creeps}} me out the way he always changes his tune to match the lyrics. 4 years ago, before he hopped onboard the
"pork-barrell-train," he got caught up in trying to change the way Washington did things too. He was running a campaign to rid Washington of special intrest groups ... too. Before "HE" started trading votes for votes ...... too.
You see - he was just new to the game and hadn't quite figured out Wash. yet.
Back in 04, for example, Wash. politics provided that In order for George to win he needed more votes. ~Enter Fla.~ He turned to his brother Jeb to "make it happen" .... In order for bro Jeb to give him Fla. Jeb had to agree to support a $150mil. bridge to go to an island clear up in Alaska, that has 50 residents. In exchange, he got Alaskas votes too. ( why else would the governor of Fla. vote for a bridge in AK ? ) See how special intrest lobbying works?

So where does that leave the American people, whos vote really doesn't even count to begin with since the "popular vote" has nothing to do with who gets elected to the presidency.
The smart money would have been on Al Gore 8 years ago. Think about which direction our nation and others like us would be heading today instead of towards Afghanistan. We may not be worrying over impending global degeneration.

The congress, house and senate have as much to do with everything as the president does. A truly discouraging event in his career, I think George Carlin still looks great for his age even though he's dead. He will have a historic comeback as the made for television producers race to tell his story. I, for one, believe Carlin can overcome this setback and return to his position at the top, where he so rightly belongs.
