I can't tell you how wonderful it is to read something that expresses exactly how I feel. I was just saying that I need to find other people who feel the same way. What you wrote is what I am PASSIONATE about. It is probably the biggest cause I want to work for as I believe that greed is truly the root of almost every human made problem in this world. The world is a mess and these celebrities live the most unreasonable, self centered, materialistic, lives imaginable and they waste the most incredilbe potentital to make a difference and really give back (throwing a little money at charities is not giving back, choosing to live in a normal sized house and turning your ridiculous giant mansion into a shelter for abused women or a home for children with cancer that would be giving back). Kids go to school without a lunch and die of poverty ever second in this world yet Miley Cyrus some Disney manufactured child product is a multi millionaire? WHAT THE FUCK?

I hope to someday write a book about the EPIDEMIC OF GREED, under a pen name (as fame and recognition are the kryptonite to charity and benevolence) and I would donate the proceeds to charity.

I find all the greed in this world so depressing mainly because the public is basically growing the wealth of these heinous glutons by buying their books and cd's and seeing their movie's and concerts. Very few people seem to see the truth, instead they aspire to be a millionaire or billionaire too. They don't see how revolting it is that people live in such heinous gluttony while so many live with nothing. Schools and hospitals (health and education, the essentials in life) struggle for funding yet celebrities and overpaid CEO's own 10 cars and 5 mansions. Even one mansion is unacceptable. This mass greed is destroyoing the world. I get so upset about it I feel like I'm going to burst. It's heartbreaking and it's so alarmaing that very few people get it. Even among my peers very few people seem to understand this obvious truth.

However I refuse to give up and I will spend my life standing up for the causes I believe. I can tell you won't give up either. It is so reasuring to see that there are other people who feel the same way and want to do more than whine about it.

If you ever create a website or write a book, an article or anything please come here and tell us about it. In fact do you have a website? A youtube site? I would love to start a online community or a website with other people who feel the same way. Do you have any information about other people who feel this way? Are there any websites?

So it'd s not about being obsessed with money it's wanting to see change in the world and realizing that that change UNFORTUNATELY requires MONEY, lots and lots of it. Half my family is and they have no more happiness. Unfortunately if you consider the giant deficit of problems in the world what the happy, generous, non-wealthy can give as pure and meaningful as it is is not able to make a very large difference. Do you have any idea how much money it will take to rebuild the New Orleans ans that's just a TINY little sector of our world. $10 million rebuilds a block, that's it. I didn't invent the concept of money but, it is what it is and being ignorant or sticking your head in the sand is the worst thing you can do. Apathy is the real danger. Very few people are evil and sadistic but, most people just say FUICK IT AIN'T MY PROBLEM. That's exactly what celebrities say about all the poverty in the world and that's exactly what many of the poor and middle class say about the wealthy.

If you think that those who are passionate about imnportant causes aren't happy then you have a very twisted view of happiness. There are few greater feeling than caring deeply about charity and change.

Problems in this world will not go away idf we ignore them and many people need and deserve our help. if you really think about you'll se that as much as money comes up in discussions about greed, that greed really is not about money, it's about people and what they value and how they choose to avoid life and choose to be selfish rather than giving. Just like bullets, money is not the almighty problem, people are the problem and they need to learn to change. If there was no money the privelledged would hoard whatever they could get their hands on, if there were no guns people would use knives, if there were no knives people would use stones and if there were no stones no objects at all to throw then they would use their fists because it's people that are the problem not objects or currency.

Life is about GIVING and standing up for what you believe in and trying to leave the world a better place than you found it.
