Jan 28 2008Heath Ledger may have died of natural causes
In the latest round of speculation on Heath Ledger’s death, TMZ is reporting that sources connected to the case feel there’s a strong chance Heath died of natural causes and not accidental overdose:
The reason they think that -- it's now appearing that the level of toxicity (from medication) in Ledger's system was low enough that it may not have caused his death. These sources say Heath's heart stopped. It could have been a heart attack but it's not certain, at least not yet. Although it's bizarre that a 28-year-old could die of natural causes, it happens.
Pauly Shore presented his own conspiracy theory (video here) that it was the Olsen twins. Why someone would interview Pauly Shore is beyond me. I would’ve videotaped an ant carrying a potato chip instead. But only because I’m so dedicated to journalism. Also, I'm on the Pringles payroll. Hey, pec implants don't grow on trees. Yet...

PS: I am trying to reconcile my feelings on the following:
Heath's performance in Brokeback Mountain was first rate, and the film was a truly great film. I was sad when I heard about his death.
Britney looks great in her last pics, and just needs the tender love of a good man, to nurture her back to health, and to spend her money on worthy causes, such as a well funded trust fund, tropical vacation with new sailboat for me. For this I will speak of living a good, honest life while attempting to worm it in from behind.
The sight of Paris's vacuous stupid face sends me into a rage and yet I still want to fuck her hard and leave when its over.
Everyone, thanks for all the laughs.

#2...you're an idiot.
here's why:
'scrips = meds 'scripts = reams of paper with crappy plots
Pauly Shore is a massive douche. I'll bet his entire house smells like summer rain.

9. Gerald_Tarrant - January 28, 2008 10:00 AM
I agree with RichPort but with Anal's modification.
Heath's heart attack was caused from an overdose of prescription medication. Accidental? Possibly. Stupid? Definitely.

#5?! I have been saying the same thing! Nobody's questioning the 'help'? You have to look in to each and every one of the black janitors, house keepers, all of 'em. They're crafty, the 'groes. And they hate whitie.
Also, who the fuck is Pauly Shore? Wasn't he a D-list celebrity back in the early nineties or something? What a doushe (yes, I know it's spelled 'douche').

If you mean the natural ingrediants in heroine, then yeah, it was a natural death.
I wonder how much it costs for a cover-up nowadays. Mary Kate is undoubtadly buying a lot of tickets to the policeman's ball. Wink, Wink.

I love how hypocritical so many people have been over this
when many of them are obese overeaters, smokers or drinkers or all of
those things. Idiots. Unless you are in great shape and eat well,
exercise regularly don't drink, don't smoke and don't do drugs you
are in NO POSITION to judge anyone.
Heath's serious lack of sleep had been going on for a while
and severe lack of sleep can actually be very dangerous it can cause a
host of serious health problems (like cardiovascular disease) and it
can obviously put a huge strain on your heart, in fact you can die of
extreme lack of sleep. Anyway a lot of doctors are complete morons so
don't expect them to put basic facts together and come up with a
logical answer. There's an effin lot of malpractice and incompetence
in the medical world. I believe he may have been clean for up to a year as many reports state however drug use can do long term damage, obviously.
So a person who has damged their body through past drug use has been getting very little sleep for months (he was quoted as saying about 2 hours a night if that was ongoing it can be extremely detrimental) and has pneumonia sudddenly dies of a heart attack and it's considered natural. Fucking incompetant morons. Do your fucking backround homework. Just remember that many of the jack ass morons you we all went to highschool with became doctors and many of them are nothing but glorified human bodyt mechanics. Past drug use, severe ongoing debilitating insomnia and pneumonia could definitely cause cardiac arrest and that ain't fucking natural it's CAUSED by past and ongoing circumstances.

He is a cuttie. He is also a playboy. I saw his profile on millionaire&celeb dating site CelebMingle.com last week.
It is said he is only interested in dating young beautiful girls on that site

28 year olds just drop dead all the time.
23. JustBuzzed - January 28, 2008 11:23 AM
If he was getting so little sleep, maybe it was a Fight Club scenario. He had to end it so his alter ego didn't blow up buildings. No one knew because, as everyone knows, the first two rules are "YOU DO NOT TALK ABOUT FIGHT CLUB"! Still, it was sad he died. Can't wait to see him as the Joker.

@ 20
based on your logic you "are in great shape and eat well, exercise regularly don't drink, don't smoke and don't do drugs" or else you wouldn't be judging, right?
also, where did you go to med school? i'm sure they're proud that you're using your vast medical knowledge to criticize celebrities on thesuperficial

I'll drink to that! No. Seriously. Now. In my cubicle.
26. Auntie Kryst - January 28, 2008 11:27 AM
@21 You stupid fuck.
@20 Yeah all those jack ass morons I went to high school with became doctors too. Of course it was the jack ass morons that aced subjects such as chemistry and biology, and graduated in the top 1% of the class, received scholarships, and busted their asses through at least seven more years of higher education. Fucking douchebags right?!
27. syd - January 28, 2008 11:28 AM
It DOES happen... every year you hear about high school and college sports players dropping dead on basketball courts or football fields because of heart defects they didn't even know about.
On a side note... what the fuck is with all the spam in these comments lately....
28. Pikachelsea - January 28, 2008 11:38 AM
Yeah, there are people who die at 28 of "natural causes", if you consider morbid obesity natural. Heath Ledger was not morbidly obese, and the fact that they expect us to believe that not only was it not an OD (accidental or otherwise) but was 100% natural is a bit hard to swallow.

I had a buddy who had a heart attack at 24. Of course he did nothing but drink and smoke day-in-day-out since high school.
32. Emily - January 28, 2008 12:14 PM
It is entirely possible he died of natural causes. My 18 year old friend died over the summer from a coronary...granted he was probably 6 inches taller and probably weighed almost 100lbs more than Heath, but still if a relatively healthy 18 yr old that only drank once in awhile can die naturally, why can't a 28 yr old totally stressed out (I also read somewhere he had pneumonia?) actor????
33. Gerald_Tarrant - January 28, 2008 12:21 PM
One of my wishes would be that TCLTDC. That's right, Tom Cruise Loves The Dead Cock. Hump away, you short crazy scientologist. Heath can't say no. John Travolta loved him, now it's your turn.
34. Bob - January 28, 2008 12:31 PM
(cough)Horseshit(cough)
He didn't die of natural causes. Just wait until the complete toxicology tests come out.
35. feckless - January 28, 2008 1:10 PM
Did Pauly Shore ever get a date?
36. OutSized Schlong - January 28, 2008 1:57 PM
I didn't understand the forensic complexity until Pauly Shore explicated it. What a genius. It is amazing that he is not a bigger star than Adam Sandler or Flavor Flav. Hollywood is so brutal and unfair. But damn it, we love her anyway because we must.
37. Bury Him Ass Up - January 28, 2008 2:03 PM
Heath was the consummate Method actor. He played a poet hooked on heroin in "Candy" and then became addicted to heroin in real life. He played a psychotic villain in the new Batman movie and then had a nervous breakdown in real life. He played a gay cowboy eating salty tapioca pudding in "Brokeback Mountain" and then...

#24. WOW you’re clever aren’t you. Actually yes, I have a BMI of 18, I exercise everyday, don't smoke or drink or do any drugs and never have but, I thought it would be rude to brag to the fat drunken stoners in here who can't get through life without numbing their little pea brains with their addictions. So I have to be a doctor to have medical knowledge? Maybe I just help clean up the fucking messes they make and no I'm not a lawyer.
Auntie Kryst normally I find your commentary intelligent. I'm glad you have no understanding of the incompetence in the medical world. I wouldn't wish the personal experience of it on anyone. You right about doctors like someone who watches E.R.
41. jack-in-the-green - January 28, 2008 3:12 PM

Pauly Shore is the best! I wish he would of made more movies.
44. Auntie Kryst - January 28, 2008 6:48 PM
@40 Fair play Powermuff, I didn't mean to offend. Still I can't make a broad brush statement about the whole medical field. Sure there are many instances of incompetence, more so than I think most want to admit. My point being if someone has M.D. at the back of one's last name chances are that person is pretty bright.

I have a feeling that Olsen twin... is it Koko or Kishka? Can't ever keep 'em straight... isn't totally in the clear... Cops will say someone is NOT a suspect when in fact they're the PRIME suspect.
48. Nathan Sprinkle - January 29, 2008 1:42 AM
Really sad either way, but if it was natural causes, thats even more so. I mean he did have a very good career ahead of him. He was a great talent. I think a lot of people need to chill on the negative comments, especially until they know for sure what really went on. That comment will most likely get me a lot of negative feedback from those very people I just addressed but. The Pot of gold at the end of the rainbow on that is... we will never meet and it doesn't really matter. I just think it's a bit uncouth. I'm gonna miss his acting a lot, along with his just seeming like a really cool person. But either way you feel about him, you still have to feel horrible for is daughter never really getting to know her dad, she will have pictures and things like that and his movies and interviews, but she wont ever get to know him that well. Thats a fucking sad thing no matter how you look at it.
