After almost six years a date has been set for R. Kelly’s child pornography case. Judge Vincent Gaughan decided not to revoke R. Kelly’s bond when the singer missed a hearing on Wednesday because his tour bus was pulled over by the police. The judge has set a trial date of May 19, according to the Associated Press:
Gaughan said that in similar situations in the future, Kelly must fly to make his court dates on time.
He also ordered the singer to cancel a Jan. 13 concert to ensure that he makes a Jan. 14 court date.
I don’t see how R. Kelly can remember the details of the alleged incident. It happened way back in 2000. I can’t even remember what I had for breakfast. I’m guessing by all these empty cans it was beer. But you’d like that wouldn’t you? Shut up. I want a cupcake. *passes out*

Maybe he should have his lawyer call the judge and say he is too sick from 'anxiety' to attend the court hearing. I've heard this tactic works to delay proceedings even longer.

Jail, jail, no bail grrrrrrrrrrrrr.
I was in a store in NYC buying sneakers. Some women started talking to the clerk about an order for like four pairs of some sneaker. The other clerk came over and they were saying she was a buyer for R. Kelly. They said it right next to me. So I looked at them and I guess they figured I didn't know what they were talking about. This was about two years ago.
"Why isn't he in jail?" That's all I said. They stood there speechless.
So much for hero worship. If that messed up their day. Good.

Looks like May 19th is a Monday. For all of you that live in Chicago, make it a 3 day weekend and call in sick. The Loop is going to be too crowded with gospel choirs singing "I Believe I Can Fly" to show support for this douche. Afterall, it was the man that did this to R. Kelly. It's not his fault.

I do not think we as humans should point the finger a an one unless your GOD.I do believe he's the only one who can point fingers and get away with it.If he s found not guilty and I hope he is he dhould get some help from the bible and not from some a white person who think they know all about the human brain.If he goes to jail he will have to be isolated the general population 'cause the men will get him.But I am praying he comes out victorious and get him help and continue his career in the music business after all he is one of the best in r&b.God Bless Kells.
