OK first off, she is on 'One Tree Hill' not 'The Hills' those are TOTALLY different shows. OTH is anything but a spin off, it's not a reality show at all. It's a comedy/drama on the CW about a group of teenagers going through, what teenagers go through, and the music they play on the show is big part of the show as well. The show isn't aring right now because they are their summer hiatus in order to film the next season, in which they are jumping 4 years into the future, after college etc.
second, she isn't superficial at all from what I've seen, she's a very real person that is in it for her love of acting, nothing else. She doesn't even call herself a celebrity, she's an actress, she says her life is no different then it used to be, only now she gets to do what she loves everyday. I've met Sophia Bush in person when I did extra work on the set of One Tree Hill, and I can tell you first hand that she is NOT a friendly person. She was rude to other cast members, rude to the crew, and rude to the extras, including yelling and using profanity (the "f" word!) in front of everyone. I did several weeks worth of work there, and I was amazed at how very rude she was. It is a shame, because she is a very pretty girl, but she does not make a good first (or second, or third...) impression.
