Because that is just an awesome way to counter "negativity": auction off a bunch of crap you don't want anymore and give the proceeds (or so she says) to an as-yet-unnamed children's charity. Don't make real efforts to care for your own kids. That takes too much time and effort, and she's got things to do. Frappuccinos to drink. Barbecue to eat. Skanky clothes to buy and wear. Court-mandated appearances to blow off.

We make jokes about how Britney will probably one day kill her kids by leaving them on the roof of her car and driving off, but I'm beginning to think that's a real possibility. Does she even have a manager or an agent now? Anybody who tries to talk her out of these unbelievably bad ideas or tries to distract her with a cheeseburger? Or do they just do as she says and collect the paycheck? I don't know if any amount of money is worth helping Britney become even more ridiculous. I like money, but I don't like it that much.
