Why would she consider "apologizing" on the Emmys? So she can make a huge room full of TV industry people uncomfortable, too? Wow, Britney, you should quit music and give career advice to up and coming pop stars. If the Emmy people agree to anything like this, they will prove themselves just as irrelevant as MTV has. If Britney had any brains at all - she doesn't - she'd agree to be on the Emmy broadcast, but only if she could do an American Idol skit with the actual judges. She could repeat about 30 seconds of her VMA "performance" (but no dancers, and with her actually singing) and then let the judges do their AI schtick: Randy ("I don't know, dawg...."), Paula ("follow your dream!"), and Simon (something extremely vicious). Then Britney should cry hysterically and say "I don't care what you say, I'm gonna be a superstar, like Taylor Hicks!" and then run off the stage, with Simon saying "isn't she too old for the show anyway?" Then nobody would be talking about the VMAs anymore.

In the lead-up all the stars were saying "Oh wow I am really looking forward to seeing Brtineys performance" and the host were hyping it up.
