Sep 19 2007Britney Spears must take drug tests, parenting classes

Britney Spears has been ordered to take randomized drug tests in order to maintain custody of her children. On top of that she must seek counseling and see a parenting coach. NY Daily News reports:
“Based on the evidence presented, the court finds that there is a habitual, frequent, and continuous use of controlled substances and alcohol by [Spears],” he wrote in his nine-page ruling…. The judge ordered the 25-year-old to undergo random drug testing twice a week - and get a parenting coach.
Kevin Federline didn’t come out of the ruling without a few dings either:
K-Fed and Brit are barred from consuming alcohol or drugs within 12 hours of when they are scheduled to take care of their children, Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1. They also have to hire a parenting coach to evaluate them and report back to the court, and they must enroll in a Parenting Without Conflict program within five days. The battling exes are due back in court Nov. 26.
I would love to be a fly on the wall at those parenting classes. Just to see the look on the instructor’s face when Britney raises her hand and says, “Wait a minute, you’re supposed to feed those things? What did y’all call them? Chil.. dren?” The instructor would almost be completely shocked if he hadn’t just seen Britney use the CPR baby’s mouth as an ashtray.

"K-Fed and Brit are barred from consuming alcohol or drugs within 12 hours of when they are scheduled to take care of their children"
So its legal to take drugs when they are not scheduled to see the kids?

Again... The side Tittays! Man she is so on her way to Playboy or Swank. I'd still hit it... I would show up with a bucket of chicken and an engorged purple helmet yogurt slinger - all the time humming the first few bars of Sweet Home Alabama...Turn it up!

Okay, which is it? A few stories down the list you report that K-Fed was awarded the kids. Now you say Skank can keep them as long as she's clean (impossible) and takes parenting classes (Step 1 - Recognize the fact you have kids...). So which is it?
Ah, hell... Forget it... Why do I even give a fuck??

The real sad thing about this whole ordeal is that all of these actions by the Judge is designed to make the children's homelife more livable.
But imagine years from now when they are teenagers, all of the coverage and gossip will be archived online and they as well as all of their friends will instantly have access to EVERY public detail about their parents.
Also, what if Britney and Kevin does NOT adhere to the Judges ruling.
Are the kids going to be taken away and placed in a foster home?
Is that really any better??????????

The Parenting without Conflict program is a standard order for any divorcing parents who are having the slightest trouble. The no drinking/no drugs for 12 hours prior to, and during time with the children is also standard. Both of those things were ordered during my divorce (though the no drinking/drugs thing wasn't ordered for me, as I had no history).
It sounds like a big dramatic thing, but it's just normal. The parenting coach and drug testing, though, is more telling.

Christ. I absolutely cannot get over how fucking retarded looking that kid is. He has that piggy/pale inbred look. All thats missing is the third ear. Somebody throw that thing in a sack and toss it off the bridge already.

They should let them eventually starve their kids instead of telling them how to be parents. Even if I was a shitty parent, its still up to me and not a judge.

They're going to need more than one

Barred from taking alcohol or DRUGS 12 hours before taking the kids??? Did I read that right? So it's ok to snort some meth as long as it's 13 hours before getting them, but then you have to take drug tests twice a week, I'm confused. I work in family law, and never heard of that contradictory rule.
I think the judge is on crack.

Random drug tests twice a week - with no time limit?
You know you've fucked up when...

I think that the whole K-fed/Spears saga has had way too much mileage already, but I am happy those kids are going to be looked after by the state. The no drugs/alcohol thing is mostly for alcohol. It leaves your system you should be 'clean' within 8 hours of your last drink -- unless you are drinking so heavily you wake up still drunk the next morning. Then they're screwed.
Those parents are both a train wreck; Brit just gets more attention cause she's the one with the $$$$ and we all know Fed-Ex is after it.
Would foster care be better for them? Yes, in the right home, with stable adults, who love them. I would believe that the judge's ruling is laying the groundwork to sever the parental rights of these two fucktards if they keep messing up on this grand scale. That means the right foster family or another family could adopt them, and that would be the best thing for those two little boys.
Neither parent really gives a shit about those kids. Brit's a hot mess and Fed is just after her money. Custody of the kids gives him more money in his greedy no-talent pockets.
K-Fed should be ordered to get a vasectomy and Brit should be ordered to get her tubes tied. Then neither one of these wastes of skin could ever breed again.
Where's Judge Judy when you need her?

ok i read that this parenting coach is going to monitor britney's parenting skills. like she's not going to be on her best behavior? please. they should do that shit undercover & then you would know for sure how poorly she parents. idiot judge.

......We've secretly replaced Britney's two children with sacks of flour and drew faces on them. Let's see if her or Kevin notices.....

You know this is the beginning of the end.......she doesn't listen to anyone, why would she listen to a judge?
