I don't understand what the big deal is. So what if she gets preferential treatment (which isn't really any different that sentencing a regular inmate), at least she's actually serving her time. Having a high profile does justify being isolated from the other inmates, or else she'd probably get her ass kicked just for being Paris Hilton.

These people are in a world all by themselves...completely LOW CLASS. Instead of planning big parties and all the rest of it when the convicted criminal gets out of jail, how about donating that money to MADD? Second... based on the article above, it costs approximately $1,110.00 a day to house her in the medical ward. Even if she spent the full 45 day sentence there, the bill would be around $50,000.00. Even though Paris gets ‘special treatment’ in most of our eyes, I think we all fail to realize to her, this is hell!
