I got my license renewed, then suspended again, got pulled over, did 3 weeks of county, got probation, violated, then did 6 more months of county. First off, I'm a little pissed about the Sherriff Department's mathematic inadequacy. They keep saying "she will fulfill her original sentence of 45 days, 5 of which she spent in jail and 40 of which are to be spent in house arrest." Wait...WHAT? She checked in Sunday, just before midnight and checked out early Thursday morning, for a total of about 80 hours in jail. Last time I checked that was less than 3 and a half days, not the five for which she's gotten credit.

Secondly, I understand people's hatred for her and their related hope that her "undisclosed" medical condition has something to do with her having gotten plunged by an inmate, but c'mon, Paris is loose like a wizard's sleeve. Do you really think a plunger could do any damage?

Lastly, the smart money is on her violating the terms of the house arrest several times before the end of the 40 day sentence, which will probably somehow be once again reduced for "good behavior". This is as inevitable as a Lindsay Lohan abortion. But the even smarter money is on the fact that when she does violate the terms of her house arrest, she will once again not have to face any consequences for being tragically stupid, dangerously selfish, and spectacularly self-centered.

This morning a local radio station (Portland OR) was talking to an anonymous person" in the police dept who said that he'd heard that Paris SNAPPED and started totally flipping out, screaming, crying, refusing to eat, pacing madly. So according to the 'he-said, she-said' gossip, she basically went completely bonkers with hysteria for five days.

In celebration of this glorious news, I immediately went out on a lunchtime bender then drove myself back to the office in my 5000 pound SUV. On the way back to work I hit 4 dogs, 3 cats & some kind of animal I've never seen before. I also seriously injured a group of blind nuns being led through a crosswalk by deaf orphan boy scouts. (Who knew my horn doesn't work?) At this point my car jumped the curb and I ran down the local police chief, right before going through the window of the neighborhood soup kitchen, where I sent the homeless senior citizens scattering for cover. Surprisingly those candy stripers who were ladling soup on their day off from the hospital weren't as quick to get out of the way, and a few got caught under the chassis of my truck. It was lucky for all of us that I was able to drag them the 1/2 mile or so to the emergency room entrance. Even luckier, I work right next door, so I was able to leave my truck parked in the ambulance zone and was barely inconvenienced by the short walk back to my office. I hope that they're sleeping with the doctors over there, otherwise the wait in the ER is like 5 or 6 hours.

And once again, the American legal system proves itself to suck ass. Someone should pay whatever amount of money it takes to have her sent over to Iran and tried there. They'd hang her sheerly for the fact that she's a stupid, entitled slut.

BULLSHIT. I just took a class about human rights while incarcerated and the health system is HORRIBLE. Being sick does NOT get you "excused," it's jail, not school.

Real men and women who have been picked up on lesser charges (like someone in their house possessed and they got charged for it too) are dying of AIDS, MDRTB, and cancer in jail or prison. Some of these are actually GOOD people just caught in hard times or bad situations, unlike Paris, who we all know is a huge selfish egotistcal bitch.

We had a former inmate come into our class and tell us the story of her friend, who got terminal cancer at age 65 and was STILL not allowed to be released TO BE WITH HER FAMILY WHEN SHE DIED. She DIED behind bars, alone. So, can Paris' "illness" top that?

Literally, there's no excuse. There's no goddamn excuse at all. Everyone here who's saying the American justice system is corrupt or fucked is totally right. This benefits no one because:
