Why do people keep saying she's being made an example of because other DUIs get only a few days? She was convicted of DUI and given NO JAIL TIME. 2) Due to her "celebrity" and snobbery, she is to serve her time in a special area of the jail reserved for high profile convicts and police officers who would be in danger in the regular population. As such, there are NO overcrowding issues that relate to her and no practical reason she can't sit her ass in jail. WHERE SHE BELONGS.

Her attorney stated that she was on a medication previous to her incarceration that she was not taking in the last several days.....like what? pepcid? The judge also constantly comenting on a document that was promised to him by Paris defense team about her emotional/medical status, this was never recieved. The defense asked the judge to meet in his office about that particular matter, a request that was rejected by the judge. This information could not be put in print because then it would become public material...a drug problem and jailtime withdrawal would certainly explain everything....would't it? Ohhhhh, the secrets.
