Tori Amos produced a really good cover album, which included a haunting rendition of Eminem's "97 Bonnie and Clyde" that blew my mind. Even her version of "Smells Like Teen Spirit" was impressive. This feels like a really poor imitation of the whole idea.

All speculation aside, this must be an inside joke for Alanis and the band. They must have thrown together a simple progression on the piano and she sang the lyrics as a farce during sound check.

Why this is being released now, who the hell knows.

If anything, it exposes the ridiculousness of Fergie and her lyrics... Perhaps her intent all along? Or was it her lovely lady lumps...

I thought this was genuine and funny, a well-deserved parody of Fergie's rendition, which has no musical value whatsoever and is just an excuse for her to shake her ass. She still just looks like a tranny to me, whether she has a nice body or not.
