Oh and I was also wondering if it's worth it to remove the tail gate. I heard that removing the tail gate creates a "wind tunnel" effect that will trickle down to my fuel economy. If this is true, how much will it improve my fuel economy?

I actually live in Santa Monica (off Santa Monica Blvd. itself, near Cloverfield St.)and no, the average hotel room is far less than $700, in fact you can find lots of rates for less than $150 close to the water. Whether $150 will get you a really classy room is open to debate; it depends on what one considers classy.

Having said that...I stand by my statement regarding your critical thinking skills. Look, the reality is, while Angelina Jolie may do amazing charity work, putting lipstick on a pig still makes it a pig.

Lots of people do great charity work and are still amoral human beings. Bill Gates has monopolized the computer industry, despite the fact that monopolies in this country are basically illegal with regard to the Antitrust Act. He has bullied small time computer companies into providing his product exclusively and has been taken to task numerous times for it. And yet he donates billions of dollars to charity every year. It doesn't make him unaccountable for his essentially illegal acts.

Oprah Winfrey does a lot for charity, and as you have acknowledged numerous times, she is still a shitty human being when it comes to her diva acts and her outright outlandish behaviors.

I could go on, but the bottom line is this... If you are going to hold these people accountable for their bad behaviors and tell the world how it makes their charitable acts somehow less impressive or important then you must also acknowledge the amoral behavior of Angelina Jolie. This is a woman who not once, not twice, but three times engaged in relationships with otherwise taken men. This is a woman who has made shitty comments publicly about her family, her children, her "baby daddy's" ex wife and several of the actors and actresses that she has worked with. This is also a woman who makes sub-par films and engages in her own diva-esque behaviors.

If you want to acknowledge her charitable works, great. But you must also, at least on some level, acknowledge the fact that she is in many ways a shitty amoral human being.

Even the most hardened criminal (believe me I know from experience) is capable of extreme acts of generosity and compassion. It doesn't make me want to invite them to Sunday dinner. Your credibility would go a lot further if you would acknowledge what it is that most people on this site are saying...that sure Angelina does a lot of good things but a lot of those things are cancelled out by the shitty things she does and says. If you want to hero worship her (and that is not meant as a snarky comment) then fine, go ahead. Just be prepared that many people, like myself, are capable of seeing past her good works and realize that she isn't any better than the rest of her Hollywood cohorts because she is just as willing to engage in asshat shenanigans.

While some things may be omitted, Jolies charity work is WELL documented I assure you. And last but not least we have the Antelope, who could only go on and on about Jolies houses, money etc and was the person who cut and pasted something she got off of US WEEKLY online about Jolie being fussy at a photo shoot for St. Johns. If she OR ANY OTHER person on here pulled their head out of their ass long enough to ACTUALLY READ through what was posted, Antelope would have realized that what US WEEKLY omitted was the fact that the deal with St Johns includes the start-up of a charity headed by Jolie which will focus on children's issues and causes. I'm not even going to get into the idiotic comment that Jolie should live in a hut and get dirty, because once again, if the dumbass had read what I posted she wouldn't have embarrassed herself by suggesting Jolie do something that she's been doing for YEARS.

Now with regards to Jolie.....what's interesting to me is ever since I've been on here speaking up about Jolies charitable work, I've been accused of worshipping her, and what is my motivation, she'd pass me by on the street if I needed help, etc.etc. and this is exactly the sad example of the people here and their obvious need to be rewarded or recognized if they believe in something, exactly the OPPOSITE behavior of what they're yelling about. I don't worship Jolie, I'm an adult. I've only seen one film of hers, GIA. But hearing about her humanitarian efforts and coming here, seeing people bash this person that's clearly made important changes and set a new standard in the business for getting involved, I decided NOT to be a sheep and go along with the herd. SO I read up on her, and I learned a lot. Working in the legal field, if I believe something is right, I argue for it, even if it's on the Fish.
The pre-occupation with her personal life, and using that to discredit the changes she's made is everyones prerogative. I don't happen to go along with that mentality. Anything I read in the rags about any of these people are half truths to outright fabrication. If one person here can say YES, I was in their hotel room, and she did in fact have an affair with Pitt.....then fine. Until then, it's irrelevant....that's what working in the legal field does to a person....at least, it should.

Overall, I think that you are articulate and while I mostly disagree with your points, when you don't succumb to name calling and mean spirited statements, most of what you right is in it's own right though provoking. It's when the other side of you comes out that you get blasted. It's easy to mire in other people's shit. Even when you don't think that you are. Generally, though, I have no beef with you.
