I just wanted to point out something. Yes Anna may have drug and alcohol problems, but, BUT, she couldn't have been too bad of a mom if her son was living with her, or had traveled so far to go see her. you know what I mean? if she were a bad mom, he wouldn't still be living with her, he would have moved on, and he wouldn't have gone to see her. I may not agree with abusing drugs, i've had 3 sisters die from ODs so I am adamantly against them, BUT I also believe that anyone who abuses drugs so heavily has something more going on that a party spirit. Because of that, I think, well it's my opinion, that people should have a little more compassion for her just for that alone, but then, she's just lost her son, and when it gets right down to it, it doesn't matter why he died, dead is dead whether he died from natural causes or from drugs, and to further stigmatize her and get joy out of making these speculations about it all, well, how would you feel if it were done to you? I'm not trying to chastize you though I know it IS coming off that way, those of you who were talking about that, I am asking you to show a little compassion to a woman who has just lost a son that we all know she loved very much. She talks about him frequently, and you know, she could have given him up and didn't. She wasn't in the money when she had him, and it would have been a lot easier for her to give him up, but she didn't, and i'm sure right now her heart is breaking as well as her spirit, and it's got to be very hard given that on the other hand, she has this new life that should at any other time bring her such joy. She was excited about her pregnancy and announced it to the world in her own quirky way...so, say what you will about her, but I highly doubt she was all that bad of a mamma.
