Ok, I can't listen to this moronic shit any longer without commenting - yes, caucasians have the highest number of welfare recipients total in America, but as we've already well established, they are the ethnic majority so of course they're going to have a higher number of recipients per capita. It's the *percentage* of total that is what you should be arguing about and I'm sorry to tell you, but it's significantly higher for minorities. i.e. there are fewer African Americans in the country so there are fewer people per capita on welfare, but the percentage of all African Americans that are on welfare is about 47% as opposed to about 22% for Caucasians. This is information from the Statistical Abstract put out by the US Census and is basic 10th grade Economics. I'm not arguing for any side of the discussion - I just can't stand it when people try to cite information incorrectly (e.g. citing a total number as supposed to a more significant percentage) to try and reinforce an already weak point.
