Ok, here's the thing. Steroids (cortisone,the prescription kind) can be given for various medical issues. I once got a steroid injection from the doctor because I had pleurisy. They're also used to treat asthma, lupus, back pain, etc. However, there is no way that prescription steroid use would cause a 'manic episode'. Additionally, Michelle Rodriguez is obviously a dumb bitch and is grasping at straws so that she can escape the blame for her own failings. It's not the allergies, the steroids, the fact that you live in Hawaii, etc. etc. The problem is that she's completely irresponsible and self-centered and that's it.

Ok, I've been on those cortisone steroids for sinus problems for a couple weeks right now, you don't choose to treat yourself with them, a doctor prescribes them. Actually, prednisone is a steriod used for inflammatory condtions (like allergies), it can cause ravenous cravings for food, mask infections and cause mood alterations including aggressive behavior. I've taken it in the past for a chronic joint problem and I regularly see patients on it that complain of always feeling hungry no matter how much they ate and being excessively angry. Personally I wasn't hungry but I would argue with people and got very competitive when I was on it.
