A long-standing Hollywood tradition (established in 2006) has been to embarrass the Best Actress Oscar winner a few days after their win by circulating their childhood photos on the Internet. And since The Superficial is proud to be a part of such a visual roast, we bring you more photos than in her mom's photo albums, which she showed to Reese's prospective boyfriends, embarrassing the poor girl in the process.
We still don't know what we would have done if Dame Judi Dench would have won, seeing as they didn't have photography in the late 1200s. More photos after the jump.

Nothing embarrassing there. Even at her dorkiest - with the big, round glasses - she's perfectly cute. Actually, she looks pretty much the same as she does now. I think it's safe to say she hasn't had any plastic surgery. Good! I'm sick of plastic surgery. I love that Witherspoon - though quite pretty - has always been more about her acting ability than her looks.

Freeway ruled!! That movie was so freaking funny. My favorite part was "You are SO ugly Bob!!! And hey, I heard you got one of them shit bags!". Also, did you see Man in the Moon? It was really good.

I loved Sweet Home Alabama! I haven't seen Walk the Line, but I was happy to see her win the Oscar. The better roles should keep rolling in now.

Yeah she is cute in most of them, but in the third one down from the top she looks like a giant bobblehead on a tiny neck. And what the fuck is wrong with the 2 girls next two her? She has been in about 24 or 25 movies I think actually. Not counting TV roles, like her appearance on "Friends". She starred in about 20 of them.
Majority of them did very well. Or are somewhat unknown but by word of mouth like "Freeway".
Freeway was incredible, twisted as all fuck, Little Red Riding Hood. Twisted like Darko ;)
And I respect anyone in hollywood that says things like this...

I didn't care for Election. I love crude movies and stuff like that, but Election was just ... it made me hate Matthew Broderick.
But I've always loved Reese. Freeway was awesome. And why has no one mentioned Cruel Intentions? Her role wasn't that great, but still I loved that movie. Haha.
I don't get how we're emberassing her with childhood photos, though. She's been acting since she was 12, right?

Her character was a cross between Patricia Arquette in True Romance and Gyllenhal in Donnie Darko because it was just so kick ass(true romance) and freaky(donnie darko).
Reese also had to actually work her way into Hollywood instead of relying on relations like Jolie, Hudson...

Everyone has failed to mention Fear! That is one of my all time fav flicks! Mark walhberg is such a hottie in it and she is a cutie as well. And the man in the moon is my all time fav and that was her first flick.Good for her for coming all this way she is an excellent actor!
