This morning, my radio station reported that she is already looking into plastic surgery for after the baby is born. She wants to get back into shape immediately (so she can go back to work) with a tummy tuck and breat lift. She is 7 months pregnant now - and she doesn't look it. Um - nutrition hun....you need to eat when you have a baby in your tummy....this isn't adoption. Mommy must feed child. Ugh.........

Look at her: she's clearly falling over. All the weight in her tummy is dragging the rest of her down and her tiny arms can't hold her up.

What's wrong with a pregnant woman piloting a plane? Pregnant women are supposed to be able to safely travel in an airplane for the first 8 months of pregnancy. What difference does it make if she's in the pilot seat or the passenger seat?

When my sister was pregnant, the doctor's told her that the "hip" thing was to have a c-section and then get a little fat sucked out during that procedure as well.

tinkerbell...that is great that you like your country. i like mine, too. that is the way it is supposed to be. germany is beautiful. my family is from there. i have a friend whose husband is stationed there (he is in the airforce), and even though she doesnt like it as much as america, she is having a great time over there. she just misses her family.

I don't think that Angelina should be compared to Mother Teresa, there's something wrong in that because at least she didn't make awful films. Every American has the responsibility to help those less fortunate, however, because we are concerned with our own economic survival and social success, we don't even blink an eye when a homeless person asks us for money, we try to forget that there are people less fortunate then us in the rest of the world, we drive cars that consume 60& of the world's natural resources, and we consume 70% of the world's drugs. The U.S. is a consumer nightmare completely driven by market forces and an insatiable desire to rule the world. I'm not saying we're responsible for all of this, I'm saying that we are actually part of the problem. And yes even I am part of it as well, as are all of us (so I'm not trying to be all high and mighty). Everyone bitches about celebrities being selfish, then when one of them does something good for the world like adopting a few children , everyone says its because they are looking for publicity. Angelina/Brad are doing something GOOD, people. Adoption policies in the US are outrageous. Angelina and Brad are giving two children a chance to live. It doesn't freaking matter what country they're from. It's just two less children that aren't going to die from starvation. Kids die every minute because of hunger and cold and dehydration. OK. A couple points I feel like I need to make.
America is one of the newer countries in the world. It was settled by people from other countries. It is not perfect. There are homeless and needy folks here, but there are social programs implemented to help them. If yous till have a problem with that, lobby congress for better social programs, or go give the guy on the corner with the sign a sandwhich. Many places in the rest of the world doen't have what we have here in America (and some have much better programs). People who live beyond their means, for example, by having babies when they can't afford them along with the rest of their totally socially unconcious lifestyle (ie, filling up the tank in an SUV gets mighty expensive), often end up in poverty due to their poor choices. Others are in poverty because of bad circumstances. On the other hand, there are people who are living the American dream. Many are celebrities, and if they weren't living the dream we as everyday common citizens wouldn't be so enthralled with their behavior. There is nothing wrong with giving back what you have earned whether it is to your community, country, or someone else in need. To make fun of someone for not doing the correct charitable action is ridiculous. What is even more ridiculous is saying that someone helping other humans in need, no matter where they are, should have helped someone else. Core ethics and values are not bound by a country's political borders, nor by race, skin color, etc. People need help - everywhere. Until everyone jumps off their soapboxes and realizes that we all have a lot to learn, none of us have all the answers, and thoughts need to change in our country and abroad to allow things to get better. It is shocking for me to read something that says anything about 'our own,'because I don't understand it. Our own what? People? Cause fuck man, all of us are people. Look at yourself before you open a can of worms like this. I mean, this topic is Angelina Jolie and flying a plane. Bella asked why couldn't everyone get a scholarship and go to college like she did? Well, she admittedly comes from a home with almost a $200,000 income. My guess is that the school she went to was in a safe area, with shiny new text books, a full, qualified staff of teachers, and a nice budget that might have even included arts and music. I can't imagine why a kid who lives in an area overrun with crime and with parents struggling to get by on their low-paying jobs might possibly not be able to spend all their time studying and "working hard" in school. I am a student myself, and I guarantee I don't work near as hard as the janitors at my school that probably get paid $10 an hour after working there for 20 years.

I don't know if prettyboyfloyd has been to Jacksonville or not, but I have, and it is not a big city. Get out and see the world.

As for protecting us from the Iraqis and Osama...Osama is from Afghanistan, a country we should have gotten involved in years ago simply based on their human rights violations. He is not Iraqi, nor is there any evidence that Iraq had anything to do with the WTC bombings. They may have harbored him, but so did several other countries. Iraq does have a lot of oil, though.

P.s. I TOO am a Military Wife. But just because my husband serves, doesn't mean we believe everything our government tells us and that our country is the best. Just look at our social security.
