My point is that the respect that used to exist in the world, say 50 years ago, is quickly vanishing. I think alot of this has to do with the media and how society is blind to its desensitization. I work at a movie theatre and am always shocked when parents bring their 8 year old kids to 18A movies. This is the next generation, folks! The reason why sex before marriage is considered immoral, by the Church, or otherwise, is for your own psychological protection. Everytime you have sex with someone, you lose part of yourself and give it away. When you actually find your husband, sex is not as big a deal anymore.
