I think he should go for it. Women burned their bars to have equal rights. That should also go for spousal support. I really could care less about these people. I never heard of them. Until I started seeing them on cover of mags. I never saw their TV show. And I am not into their music.

Here's the chronology of events that absolutely leads to Nick deserving half of Jessica's money.

Jessica's album drops just before the Newlyweds show debuts and sells 15 copies total - including the ones she bought as Christmas gifts for her family and friends. A little bit later she agrees to whore out her new marriage to MTV - enter Nick. The show is a huge hit with the "key-demos" and her dad is happy that she can finally show her boobs on national TV. He decides to re-release the album once the single becomes the theme song to the show. The same crappy album goes platinum this time (because apparently the key demos are retarded and only buy things they are told by MTV are cool).

Sidebar - Wasn't the whole MTV telling kids what to buy the plot to the 90's movie "Josie and the Pussycats"? Cue Twilight Zone music.

Anywho...Jessica Simpson becomes a huge no-talent hack (with big boobs) that is then allowed to play Catherine Bach as a blonde in a terrible movie adaptaion that pays her a couple cool mil.

Regardless of what Jessica did to Nick of cheating or she was asked to play Catherine Bach, who cares? Jessica didnt and doesnt need Nick to be successful. Jessica will continue to be triumphant with or without Nick! As for nick...what kind of man is he when he can't settle for his own but has to munch off someone elses success. It's her body and probably her boobs that got her to the top. If anything Jessica should be asking for the same spousal support since Nick was also a nobody before hooking up with jessica. If I didn't know that Marriage made Jess a star then I would say Nick is crazy for asking for money, but he's not here. He came into the marriage IMO more succesful in his field than she did but left with no success in any field really. She on the other hand came in known but ignored (due to christiana and brit and the hundreds of other blonde tarts at the time who competed against each other) and left hugely successful in means of popularity and opportunity. So, yeah he does deserve the Money and he should get it, even more so in the fact that her dad is her manager and from what I understand wanted them to do the MTv show. I watched only a few episodes and it was okay but it never made me a solid viewer. I just don't care for reality shows really. She is hot as hell but in the end at least give him the money, cause he won't be smacking that ass anymore. Some never get the chance but oh well.
