Jan 30 2006Janet Reno sings Respect
Former U.S. Attorney General Janet Reno probably doesn't qualify as a celebrity, but when you pull crazy shit like this it doesn't even matter. Over the weekend, she sang Aretha Frankin's "Respect" during the 10th anniversary celebration of the Human Service Coalition held at the Bank of America sky lobby in Miami. I'm not saying it's insane, but after watching it your brain may or may not melt.

Does burning 80 men, women, and children alive (Waco '93) not somehow disqualify you from membership in the "Human Service Coalition"?
2. jujucabana - January 30, 2006 7:39 PM
thank you for posting this. this has just made you ruler of the superficial. and thanx for having atleast one video not about sci-fi sex. although i'm sure someone, somewhere, is very turned on by this video.

she has no sense of rhythm or beat. so sad.

When I showed this to my husband, he said, "Who is that, Will Ferrell?" I said, "Yes, honey, it is." I didn't want to scare him.

wtf did i just watch
9. HollyJ - January 30, 2006 8:03 PM
I love a person that can laugh at themselves, and she's fabuloussssss for being so good about it! (She obviously knows she can't sing.) I think the shaking neck google is her MS.
I believe David Koresh was the one who killed those simpletons by putting them in a dangerous illegal standoff with Feds. Someone's gotta keep gun-stockpiling freaks within the bounds of the law!
10. Binky - January 30, 2006 8:30 PM
Good to see some one with a 'real job' and an IQ over 20 on the site.
(Janet, hun, snap your fingers or something)
( And put some of those pricks in jail)
11. Jeremy1Esq - January 30, 2006 8:42 PM
I agree with #9. Not that I want to discuss politics, but even as a Republican and a believer in owning guns etc, that freak Koresh was responsible for those deaths, not Reno.
But I digress, Reno is really just Rick Astley after he had a sex change operation. I havent seen Rick since 93, when he made a decent album Body and Soul, and the next thing you know this beast appears on the scene. Things that make you go Hmmmmm.
12. ESQ - January 30, 2006 8:46 PM
That was the next American Idol wannabe!
I thought Miami only housed the hot people, not old lesbians that can't sing, let alone spell R-E-S-P-E-C-T.
13. scotty321 - January 30, 2006 8:48 PM
#9 and #11, you guys have absolutely no fu**ing idea what you're talking about in terms of what happened at Waco. Getting your news from mainstream media sources? I thought so. Why don't you watch the documentary "Waco: The Rules of Engagement" to see what REALLY happened. Actually footage from the government for you to watch. Reno murdered those people in Waco.
14. ESQ - January 30, 2006 8:48 PM
The next Americal Idol wannabe!
I thought Miami only had hott people there, at least the last time I was there that is all I saw. Not old lesbians that can't sing let alone spell R-E-S-P-E-C-T. How did this woman pass the bar?
15. cinns - January 30, 2006 10:59 PM
she's cute in a disturbing way
16. Kelly the Rockstar - January 30, 2006 11:19 PM
That is so freaking random that it is hilarious. I love it.
Isn't it weird how a clip of Janet Reno singing "Respect" sparks political debate? Wtf, lighten up people.
17. rivercmb - January 30, 2006 11:30 PM
scotty321 is absolutely right. I've seen that video and others and have read material on it. They slaughtered those people, flat out. Reno should be singing that in jail.
18. mrs.t - January 31, 2006 6:50 AM
you are all assholes. she is clearly having a siezure.
19. EnergyGuru - January 31, 2006 9:03 AM
She's damn lucky she's smart cuz she aint got much else obvious going for her.
20. hafaball - January 31, 2006 9:24 AM
I saw this on IFilm...I decided to skip it here heh
21. AnastasiaBeaverHausen - January 31, 2006 12:32 PM
Janet Reno has parkinson's disease you insensitive pricks. That's why her speech is off. Open a newspaper or watch the actual news once and a while instead of the celebrity news shows assholes!
22. ubflamed - January 31, 2006 2:10 PM
Hey - I saw a pic of Janet before Parkinsons and then after Parkinsons - she looked the same.
23. Kitchy - January 31, 2006 2:46 PM
Wow. For a brief moment I thought Stephen Hawking had suffered a severe brain injury and was able to walk again.
24. Kitchy - January 31, 2006 3:00 PM
#13...you also own Michael Moore videos don't you? They are chock full o' "actual government footage" because we all know THAT can't be edited in any way to support an agenda. By the way Nancy Pelosi called...she said you have been using the collective brain for too many minutes, your time is up and something about you being fined for forgetting to use this week's sound byte "Right Wing Murder Machine" somewhere in your argument.

Eventhough i have a US green card, my sister works in the US as a pharmacist, and my parents and cousins and uncles and aunts all live in the US and are US citizens, I still have to say americans live in their own fucking closed world of idiocy. Who gives a shit about waco. People die everyday, like all the people that US slaughtered in Af. and Iraq. Doesn't matter, because as I have correctly predicted 10 years ago, US would fall hard, because people like on this site are fucking useless in society. Ask yourself, are you truly productive. Reno is a retard, that knows nothing, i mean, how can such a nobody have so much power (she so back water, it's not even funny) but I est. that she is 3 times smarter than an Avg ploke walking around the US. Doesn't matter, it'll be fun to see how Americans fall hard in the next 10 years. Soros predicted it, and I too. Well, I talk shit, but I am talking shit against even my own family.
Get out of your little world and think outside Janet Reno. In America, that's the only thing you have to talk about, because you don't know other shit.

Wonder What Simon thinks? if he saw it.
27. Kitchy - January 31, 2006 5:28 PM
#25...
Sorry I swas held up at "I have a Green Card".
HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH!!!!
Once again everyone..."I hate AMERICANS!...Um...can I move in with you anyway?"
You can't even write english properly and you also put yourself and Soros in the same setence! HAHAHAHAHAHHAHA
Remember this douchebag...
The U.S will never fall...mainly because even douchebags enjoy the freedoms it has to offer; and as a Douchebag with a green card, you give up the right to use "you Americans" in any setence. The U.S is HUGE, we are deservedly cocky because of it, and that is a non-partisan right. F$@! off Douche and get over yourself. You predict crap, I predict that you will always be a worthless Douche between countries.
Yes Americans are in a closed world of Idiocy...and WE were the ones killing innocents in Iraq and Afghanistan? You are blithering, you are WRONG and you are a tool.
"We've got a job to do. Let's go police the world."
28. Kitchy - January 31, 2006 5:30 PM
Oh, and in case it wasn't clear...
You Are A REALLY BIG DOUCHEBAG.
Thats all I have to say about that.
29. Kitchy - January 31, 2006 5:31 PM
oh and...WTF is a ploke?
30. speechless - January 31, 2006 7:18 PM
you're lucky we let you hang out with the the world police #25.
Um, if we are so pathetic, what does that make you for reading our entertainment website, and commenting on it?

"America...F#%k Yeah!"
32. mrschickee - February 1, 2006 1:17 AM
America is a beautiful place. And so is this website, if only for the fact that you can read the word douchebag over and over again and feel no shame. Is it too much? I think not.
33. sboy - February 1, 2006 2:22 AM
#27 - I only lived in Texas for 5 years, but I was born in Canada, but my family decided to move back, I never got my citizenship because during Uni in the states, I decided to go travelling to Asia and Europe, and learn Chinese and French, something a redneck like u couldn't do.
Of course I enjoy coming to this site, I was living and working in the states, but I've also lived and worked in Asia and Europe. I enjoy all forms of entertainment, but I have the choice to critize who I want.
America is a beautiful place to live, hell I know friends that have gone on vacation in the US just to have a baby there so they are US citizens. Why not?
But America as a country, specifically referring to the economics and global policy, just sucks, and will continue to suck, esp. with Bush, and americans will continue to lose (already have lost a lot) of respect from other countries and esp. their ppl.
34. sboy - February 1, 2006 2:23 AM
Don't need to cry when defending your country, you should be proud for defending your country and having such strong nationalism.
35. slinkhard - February 1, 2006 6:20 AM
'americans will continue to lose (already have lost a lot) of respect from other countries and esp. their ppl.'
True. Morons like Kitchy really live down to the stereotype.
36. Kitchy - February 1, 2006 10:59 AM
I am a moron because I do not go along with the mob mentality that is running rampant in the left. The respect that is lost, is not important because it is "respect" from people who have been hand fed an idea of what a government is supposed to do. America thrives. No other place in the world can a person with very little education and money purchase a home of their own. No other place in the world has a lower unemployment rate. You jump to cinclusions at my education level, culture, background and world travel. Travel wherever you want, but I challenge you to find just ONE place where you can have the freedoms you have here. Not at the cost of other people. In Korea a waitress is yelled at by a male dominated business party in for dinner. In N.Ireland you can not see the movie Geisha because it is banned. NO longer will a woman have her hand cut off for showing it in public in Afghanistan. I know more people than I can list who have finally moved back to Iraq years after being forced out because of their backgrounds. Doctors. Female doctors who were not allowed to practice and whose husbands had been taken and murdered. They are home again. Call me a redneck. I will debate circles around you. This website is silly. Debates on here are silly. Do not DARE to make a judgement on anyone's intelligence. I come on here for lighthearted humor and some asshole with anti-American drivel decides to use the site as a political forum. Screw you and your socialist values. You believe the government is supposed to feed, dress, cure and house everyone. I believe (and there is more opportunity HERE than ANYWHERE, I DARE you to prove me wrong)it is better to give someone the financial opportunity to do it themselves. Teach them to make clothes and grow food. Help them to build their own homes. We are respected, always will be. These countries you speak of. Name one without a tawdry past, and also one that has not benefited one way or the other from the U.S. Nevermind. You have rehearsed answers to everything. "American's are bad. America sucks. We all hate you". Funny part is...it kills ALL of you, that we just don't CARE. Everyone's always jealous of the smart, goodlooking kid. By the way... I own my 4th house now after sell ing the others. I paid $500,000.00 for it. I make $150,000 a year and grew up with NOTHING. We had no insurance but I never wanted for medical care, and when I broke my neck at 15, I was treated at no cost to my family. However we never had to wait MONTHS for a test like most countries. I also only take 2 weeks off a year if lucky. I am looking to buy a business. My best friends in the world ...one from India, one from Japan, one 3 from N. Ireland, 1 from England, 1 from Bosnia, 4 from Iraq, one from Korea, 2 from Philipines. They all live here now. How are you doing in life? Things going well for you? Screw you. I am very proud of this country and everyone in it. My grandfather fought at Normandy and died there. We had no reason to be there, but we were. Go to hell. I am tired of our country being a "convenient" ally to all of you. Someday, we may just say, go F$@! yourselves, fix your own problems.
37. Kitchy - February 1, 2006 11:02 AM
By the way...I forgot to mention..I have done all of that, and I am 35 and a woman.
and since it IS this site... I will add
You are a DOUCHEBAG.

PSST...Kitchy...
"Team America" is satire. (Not just the mouthy actor parts. The whole thing.)
And "Memoirs of a Geisha" was not banned anywhere in Northern Ireland.
40. Binky - February 1, 2006 9:40 PM
PSST...Kitch...
and your medication really does need changing...
Well - I thought " Team America " was a just a satire as well. Apparently it isn't showing in Fallujah yet - but with all the gr8 things Kitchy says is a'happen' in the U S of A right now - they're gonna want to see it ASAP.
41. slinkhard - February 2, 2006 4:49 AM
'In Korea a waitress is yelled at by a male dominated business party in for dinner.'
And in America, you have a president who's restricting access to terminations and even contraception, has eliminated of the Office of Women’s Affairs in the White House; and attempted to dissolve the Labor Department’s women’s bureau. Well done!
'Funny part is...it kills ALL of you, that we just don't CARE.'
Oh, yes. I could tell that from the ten-foot post.
'We had no insurance but I never wanted for medical care, and when I broke my neck at 15, I was treated at no cost to my family.'
So you didn't mind relying on the government then? What a shame your family didn't take responsibility for itself.
'Someday, we may just say, go F$@! yourselves, fix your own problems.'
I only wish England had, instead of fighting Iraq with you. (I guess we were a convenient ally, huh?)
